Warning to #Eastleigh residents:
Today I had it confirmed by Conservative HQ, that MP @pauljholmes and his staff have been breaking GDPR regulations with the "Constituents Survey". My email was illegally added to databases used for spam by the Eastleigh constituency office.
@pauljholmes To to Conservative party's credit. Their Data Protection Analyst's letter in response to my query was very good.
Detailed how my email came to be on the database confirming my hypothesis is was Paul Holmes' "survey" being used to get emails for HQ DB.
@pauljholmes ...it also highlights the problem with Tories and laws, they don't follow them; so don't think others do.
This in part is why they want to make our lives worse with deviation from GDPR. Because laws and rights are seen as inconvenience.
@pauljholmes Imagine how apologetic my MP will be for describing my saying I'd got this info from Tory HQ as "complete nonsense".
Tory data protection person apologised, I wonder if the "honourable" MP for #Eastleigh will too?
@pauljholmes I'm not a UK data protection expert but I believe max fine is £5000 per incident.
So Paul sharing my details with Eastleigh Conservatives (#1), Eastleigh Conservatives sharing with Conservative Party HQ (#2). Two emails from Tory HQ (#3 & #4).
Total cost: £20,000
@pauljholmes /me notes that @pauljholmes has not commented on his slur that it was "complete nonsense", presume it's queued up behind his statement on if he voted to support Johnson and his statent on if he supports the illegal/inhumane Rwanda deportation without trial project.
