Racism & other systems of oppression are sneaky! They want us to aim our push, call, demand, actions for change to the system levels that if disrupted minimally dismantle the system of oppression. 🧵 3/6
If we focus too much on persons we minimize the importance of this tool in holding ALL players of the system (structures, institutions, culture, and individual people) accountable in the funding, knowledge generation, and translation landscape.🧵 4/6
That said, #TheConstellationsProject is an important tool for transparency & accountability as we demand health equity, innovative science, & impactful science from @NIH. Users of @TheConstelProj must remember cannot be myopic in our anger & press for system accountability. 🧵5/6
