Making abortions illegal does not stop abortions. It just stops safe options for abortions. A woman that truly does not want that fetus WILL find a way by any means to abort it. Coat hangers, "accidents", poisoning by means of drugs & alcohol.

What you're doing is endangering the woman. If she survives than you've potentially fucked up that fetuses life. It will either be miscarried, stillborn, or have a birth defect as a result of the woman trying to get rid of it.

Then it's born. Guess what? That woman still doesn't want it. So now it's sent off to an already overcrowded foster system where they will most likely be aged out of and end up homeless. That's no saving a life. That's damning two lives to Hell on Earth. & that child grows up-

-knowing their mother never wanted them.
What if the woman actually did want it? But want to abort it because she was not financially stable? Now the baby's born and this will go one of two way.

The first way:
She'll give the baby up for adoption. She will be torn apart by this-

decision. She will hate herself for giving away a child she so desperately wanted to keep but couldn't afford to keep. She'll probably commit suicide as a result. So you saved one life to doom another's. OH wait. But that child still enters the foster care system.

Where the same scenario as an unwanted fetus occurs. Aged out and homeless. Again. You didn't save a life. You damned one and killed the other.

The second way this could go:
She keeps the child and struggles to make ends meet for their sake.

But she's most likely a single mom or both parents are just poor and work 2-3 jobs at minimum wage (which is STILL only $7.25/hr) to pay a $2000 rent for a 2-bedroom house. They grow up poor because now that the parents have 2-3 jobs each, they no longer qualify for-

-Welfare, SNAP, or EBT. They make too much. But just barely. They have no time for themselves and barely have time for the kid. The kid grows up unintentionally neglected and probably bullied for being poor.

This then splits off into to three different scenarios.
Scenario 1: the father gets sick and dies from being overworked. The mother can no longer make ends meet and social workers come to collect the child who ends up in that same faulty foster care system.

Rinse and repeat the above scenario about that.
Scenario 2: the mother gets sick and dies and while the father can still just barely make ends meet (because men are still paid more than woman btw), he resents the child. they did this to his wife, his lover, his partner.

the kid ends up being abused and is either straight up murdered or ends up in foster care. you know where that leads.
Scenario 3: the mother was a single mom, got sick and died and now the kid's in foster care.

oh! not to mention that adoption is a long, lengthy, and expensive-

process. And in quite a few states, gay couples are STILL not allowed to legally adopt despite being allowed to legally marry.

not to mentioned the unwanted kids in foster care usually coming out the womb addicted to drugs or alcohol

because of the woman attempting to abort them.

so no. you're not saving a SINGLE life unless you can create EFFICIENT ways for those who want to keep but can't afford it be able to afford it and/or provide foster children the BEST possible life by-

-funding foster homes, doing thorough and frequent checkups on foster homes to prevent abuse, and giving the foster kids that inevitably age out of the system, a place to temporarily stay that isn't a homeless shelter and an opportunity for a job and possibly college.

I won't accept anything LESS than THAT BARE MINIMUM. Or else you're not saving a life at all.
You are DAMNING and CONDEMNING two lives. Possibly killing one or both of them off.
