Republicans need to answer for mainstreaming conspiracies and talking points that have radicalized individuals to commit violence. This includes the replacement theory, Qanon and the Deep State. These white supremacist theories are now part and parcel of the GOP.

Terrorists who believe in the replacement theory have killed Jews, Muslims, Mexicans and Black people, all seen as "invaders" trying to replace white people. This is repeated almost daily on Tucker's show. Murdochs have blood on their hands which they wipe off with money.

And many media colleagues refuse to ask tough questions, do follow ups, grill Republicans about any of this and instead do a "both sides" BS coverage for ratings, access, and scoops. Why? Because that's just business. And...it doesn't affect them or their families or communities.

We got a whole bunch of Muslims in the White House today. People dressed to the nines. Everyone is happy. About to be addressed by President Biden. The last guy wanted to ban us. It's a nice day. Eid Mubarak all.

Lovely words by Biden, but this was the best moment. He invited some kids from the audience on the stage and they were there throughout his words.

Marjorie Taylor Greene and Boebart are the future of the GOP. They represent the base. To see them as outliers is a mistake.

As I've written before, it would be wise for Democrats to proactively attack them and inform the people that their "squad" represents the GOP. The contrast is stark, and I believe the majority will be repulsed by them. Democrats, of course, ignore them, because of course.

This is the famous "Uh oh" Campbell Soup. My Pakistani immigrant parents didn’t teach me English even though I was born here. I knew 3 phrases of English when I went to pre-school:

- Shut up! (My mom told me to shut up)
- Idiot! (this followed shut up)
- Uh Oh Pasghettio!

My book, GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM is coming out Tues, Jan 25th. My mother says,"it's not bad," which is Pakistani immigrant for "It's excellent." My publisher is asking me to promote it so you all can pre-order it. I'll try in the least shameless way possible. Thread 1/

The first chapter is "Create Your Own Superhero Origin Story." I was a shy, sick, left-handed, HUSKY pants-wearing kid born in the Bay whose Pakistani immigrant parents decided it'd be awesome not to teach me English, thus forcing me to take ESL in first grade. I was a winner. 2/

I learned English, graduated from UC Berkeley w/ an English major, became a writer, & married way up - a varsity cheerleader/athlete who's also a brilliant doctor. She invested in me when I was broke & all I had was a '97 Camry without a door handle. (Hooray! I love Amreeka!) 2/
