The life of a Muslim revolves around spiritual bonanzas because Allah has prepared Jannah for him.
His day begins at night. In Islam, the night precedes the day. Hence, the Muslim has a special spiritual bonanza for him to take of advantage of in the hours of the night.

#Tahajjud (nocturnal prayer).
I share with you a hadith that will encourage you on Tahajjud

“Make a practice of getting up at night, for it was the custom of the pious before you, is a means of bringing you near to your Lord, an atonement for evil deeds and a preventative of sin."

حسن بشواهده
The one that makes it a habit to perform Tahajjud sincerely for the sake of Allah not informing anyone of it will have Jannah. Allah says: “No person knows what is kept hidden for them of joy as a reward for what they used to do.” Qur’aan 32:17
If he misses out on Tahajjud or perhaps gets to perform it then there is yet another spiritual bonanza knocking. Seeking for forgiveness (Istighfar) at the time just before Fajr prayer.

"And in the hours before dawn, they were (found) asking (Allah) for forgiveness.” Quran 51:18
Just after that, another spiritual bonanza knocks at our doors because Allah wants us to be in Jannah.

Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The two rak'ahs (before) of Fajr are better than this world and everything in it.” Muslim.
The believer in his excitement gets another spiritual opportunity to become successful

Allah Almighty says: O son of Adam, do not be frustrated to perform four cycles of prayer for me at the beginning of your day. I will suffice you for the rest of it.”
Abu Dawud
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever performs twelve cycles of prayer in each day and night, by them a house will be built for one in Paradise.”

2 before fajir
4 before Dhur 2 after
2 after Maghrib
2 after Isha
That’s for 24 hours what about the months of the year. What do we have of spiritual bonanza?
Muharram the first month of the year.

Prophet (SAW) said: “fasting the day of ‘Ashoora’ (10th of Muharram) I hope Allah will expiate (sins) thereby for the year that came before it.” Muslim,
Rajab

The Sacred months have a special status, which applies also to Rajab because it is one of the sacred months. Allah says,
Verily, the number of months with Allah is twelve months (in a year), so it was ordained by Allah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth;
of them four are Sacred. That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein…” [al-Tawbah 9:36]
It was reported that Ibn ‘Abbaas said that this phrase (so wrong not yourselves therein…) referred to all the months, then these four were singled out and made sacred, so that sin in these months is more serious and good deeds bring a greater reward.
Month of Sha’ban

Abu Salamah said: “I asked ‘Aishah (R) about the fasting of the Messenger of Allah (S), and she said: ‘but I never saw him fast in any month more than he fasted in Sha’ban. He used to fast all of Sha’ban, and he used to fast all of Sha’ban apart from a few days
Ramadan
No comment.

You all are familiar. It is a familiar territory. Pray to see another one.
Shawwal

Another spiritual bonanza.

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days of Shawwal , it will be as if he fasted for a lifetime.” Muslim
Dhul Qa’adah the month we are in now.

It is one of the sacred Months of which ibn Abbas RA said doing righteous deeds in them attract more reward.
Dhul-Hijjah

The Prophet (S) said: "There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days." The people asked, "Not even jihad for the sake of Allah?" He said, "Not even jihad for the sake of Allah, except in the case of a man
who went out to fight giving himself and his wealth up for the cause, and came back with nothing." (Reported by al-Bukhari, 2/457).
The thread was all about voluntary actions. In each week we have Mondays and Thursdays and in each Month we have 13th, 14th and 15th days to fast in.

No religion has the sets of spiritual bonanza and no religion has this type of organized spiritual timetable as Islam.
Say, Alhamdulillah for making you a Muslim.
#Alhamdulillah
If you study the thread carefully you will realize that all the deeds mentioned can be performed by both the rich and the poor, men and women. Alhamdulillah for an all inclusive religion.

I begin with the Name of Allaah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Muslims and the Media: battle of Minds

Arewa 24 a completely anti-arewa platform
Allaah has blessed and favored us with media both social and otherwise. He is equally testing us by giving us access to the world through the internet. An opportunity to be made or marred.

Prophet Muhammad SAW was not only humble but he was a man of principle and orderliness.
Prophet Muhammad SAW sat in the midst of companions never desired to be placed above them. When walking with two people, they will flank him neither allowing them to be behind him. He was a strategists and a leader.
Prophet Muhammad SAW was excellently generous. He was always giving. Never wanted to see any of his comrades in a distress condition. They loved him (peace be upon him) dearly because he did not exalt himself above them even though he is above all of us.

Let us stop complaining about what is wrong with our country let us start creating ideal environment around us. You want honest and truthful individuals, build your family around honesty & truthfulness. In shaa Allaah when we do that at a micro level we will see positive results.
I strongly believe that individual greatness can inspire group greatness.
If your circle of influence is motivated by your straightforwardness, truthfulness, diligence and honestly then the society will feel the positive impact of it. Everyone is complaining about what is wrong with our country, then who is the culprit? You see what it better to change

Shaykh Uthaymeen (Rahimahullah) said: “Do not say everyone around me is a student of knowledge, rather spread knowledge wherever you are; perhaps there are people who are ignorant and you can clarify to them what they do not know.“
Shaykh Uthaymeen (Rahimahullah) said, “You find the people follow the scholar who practices what he preaches, more than just following him in speech.”
For example if I said that I saw such and such a scholar pray or give charity in secret, or fast three consecutive days every month, you will find people follow the actions more often than the speech.

Last week we were all here debating with fellow “peace loving Muslims” on Sokoto case, today they have lost their voice to speak against the gruesome murder of an innocent Fulani Mum and her kids in Anambra state that did not provoke anyone. Bury your heads in shame.
Deborah was one soul and these are three souls, where is the uproar, where is the voice against mob action? It means some Muslims are more pained by the killing of a lady that insulted the Prophet SAW than they are by the killing of innocent Muslims that insulted not even a fly.
If this doesn’t make us introspect and check our claim of loving the Prophet SAW, I don’t know what would.

Tik tok has become a global virus in fact , it is another pandemic that destroys the moral fabric of the young generation.
Just as we were all active in tackling COVID we should do so in addressing this moral virus called tik tok that is spreading immorality faster than covid.
We all owe ourselves the responsibility to act responsibly on-and-offline. We all are desirous of a favorable decision on Judgement Day, so please let us not jeopardize our chances by chasing after likes on tik tok.
