A little goes a long way thread. In the last 7 days according to @arestovych the Ukr military has destroyed 16 RU ammo dumps using Tochka and HIMARS. 4 in Luhansk and 12 in Donetsk. I remember when people doubted that HIMARS would be a “game….
2-changer” and mocked the fact that initially 4 were being sent. I too criticized the decision to send 4 until I realized that the US had taken the same approach with the M777. At first 18 and then 96 plus. Well HIMARS is now allowing Ukr to make precise strikes on high
3- value targets. Once those are taken out ie CPs and Ammo dumps I’m sure air defenses will be degraded so that Bayrakters can take out other targets such as MLRS and long range arty. The ability for HIMARS and TB2s to take out long range arty allows Ukr to use western SPGs
4-with impunity. This is what will happen over the next 4 weeks. The long range strike capabilities of the Ukrs are improving while those of the RU are starting to be degraded. Now RU has cruise and ballistic missiles but as soon as Ukr air defenses are upgraded with NASAMS
5-that will change too. So the Ukrs must stay the course:
1-take out CPs and Ammo dumps
2-target RU SAM sites
3-use Bayrakter and HIMARS to knock out RU long range MLRS/Arty
4-once the above is done in sequence use concentration of HIMARS, Bayrakters, M777s and SPGs to
6- Obliterate RU defensive strong points so that Ukr offensives meet little resistance. The above campaign should last about 5 weeks. By August Ukrs will have cleared the way for them to go on the offensive with little Russian resistance

🧵 Lest we forget who the Germans are. Yes they have played nice the last 67 years but out of necessity. All through the Cold War their intelligence services were suspected of aiding and abetting NAZI fugitives. They used their man Reinhard Gehlen to collect intelligence… Image

🧵 This is part today’s assessment from @TheStudyofWar This brings home the reality that the RU might have just shot it’s wad in the Donbas. As @TrentTelenko has pointed out the Russians may have reached their culmination point. When you commit 25 BTGs to take an objective yet…
2-your opponent is now pushing you back, your offensive is now ground to a halt and you are struggling to keep your units from losing all the gains from said offensive. War is fluid but offensives that have the opponent outnumbered 7-1 should not be experiencing ebb and flow…
3- Its unheard of. Unless you lost those 7 to 1 odds reaching the culmination point of your offensive short of your objective. Can it be now that the odds are 2 to 1 or even 1 to 1 in manpower in Sieverodonetsk? It’s obvious Russians still hold the edge to arty ratios. Yet….

🧵Well the experts on cable news keep talking about a War of Attrition and how Russia has more equipment so it favors them. Well @TrentTelenko and I amongst many others have been saying the Russians are running out of modern equipment. Meanwhile the Ukrs are modernizing their…
2-units with Western equipment. Now some will argue some of that equipment is dated. Yes but it’s still better than old Soviet junk. Remember Ukrs can get parts for M113s and M109s but the RU has to cannibalize their equipment to keep it running. But as we have seen RU mostly….
3-abandon their broken equipment which the Ukrs salvage and repair. Yes multiple Allies to Ukr are helping repair that equipment. So the RU is in the state of exponential attrition. Cannibalizing a vehicle to repair another the result being eventually multiple losses to keep…

The MQ-1C Gray Eagle drone is a game changer. Not bc it can loiter for 25hours and has a range of 200 miles or the fact it carries 4 Hellfire missiles. Then again what will 4 do. It’s not enough people say. Well it’s…
2-the sensors that it has onboard that are the game changers. It has terrain mapping abilities and can designate targets. It’s sensors in terrain mapping have the ability to detect changes in the soil. In other words if the soil was distributed during a mining operation or
3-if IEDs have been placed. It can be linked to other systems that can use its targeting systems. So Brimstone missile launchers can use MQ-1C’s targeting abilities to engage Ru armor simultaneously and then use MQ-1C to engage their assembly points. A MQ-1C on a night flight
