1) NATO leaders branded Russia “the most significant and direct threat to Allies’ security and to peace and stability” not only in Ukraine but the whole world. 2/7
2) Allies will continue to provide major military and financial help. They expressed their support by agreeing to a ‘Comprehensive Assistance Package’ for Ukraine. 3/7
3) NATO announced the ambitious goal to increase the rapid-response unit to 300,000 troops to deter Russian aggression. Instead of 40,000. A very clear signal. 4/7
4) Last but not least, two new countries, Finland and Sweden will join the Alliance. This demonstrates that NATO’s door is open. And yes, Ukraine has every right to pursue a NATO membership. 5/7
It was a very good conference but not all of our strategic and geopolitical objectives have been achieved. Ukraine is not at the Summit of success. We can do more. 6/7
Anyway, NATO is on Ukraine’s side. Because Ukraine is on the side of freedom and democracy. It is a „de facto“ Alliance.
Слава Україні!
Glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦 7/7
