It can provide mucosal immunity which means sterilizing immunity. It's the only way to get out of our current predicament. We all need to send the message to our governments to reject the mRNA experiment that can't keep up with the high degree of mutations
The mRNA answer is to use an "updated" vaccine for Ba.1 that is already gone. Their proposal is to just use manufacturing data and skip trials. This means they want us to be guinea pigs for "updates". We are not guinea pigs. "Move fast and break fast" is not for public health.

People wonder why it needs 3 shots to get the high antibodies vs newer variants. It's because the immune system needs to be trained against the non-mutating epitopes/regions of the spike. Because mRNA does not include this, you have to start over on square one after each shot. Image

Now read carefully about what the Matrix-M was able to achieve. When using just the antigen alone, it was able to reduce from 10,000 to 1,000 viral units in the lung. With the adjuvant, it was able to reduce it to undetectable levels. Sterilizing immunity.
Lots of experts seem to miss on why Novavax is able to achieve such broad protection against all variants. The answer is their Matrix-M secret sauce in addition to presenting conserved epitopes.

Finally a comparison of Novavax vs mRNA for protection in the upper airways. Only Novavax showed protection in the upper airways. While other studies evaluated peak protection, this one actually evaluated protection after 3 months. science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… Image

This tweet says it all. He isn't about what's best as Novavax showed that it didn't need updates until XBB drifted as far away from OG as SARS is. But he ignores that and just wants mRNA to "win." His opinion is one-sided. He probably owns a ton of mRNA stocks.
