Most of you might know me because of my collecting background but I’m an artist too and i started from 0 sales & 0 followers on twitter 7 month ago, today i have more than 200 sold art NFTs, this thread is based on my experience and it’s not a financial advice.
(2/12) Identity,
Your Profile Picture, Banner, Twitter Bio, Pin Tweet, The way you tweet.
Example: i have my logo as my pfp from the beginning of my journey, my color identity is blue ‘for now’ and I haven’t changed it so people won’t get confused and they recognize me overtime
(3/12) Your Art,
Super simple, everything can be sold as an NFT based the potential you have, but as an artist i prefer you put your best work out there.
If you don’t really like the result of your art yourself don’t expect other people to like it.
(4/12) Price
Definition of low price and expensive changes from someone to another, what it works for you might not work for someone else.
I never give price advice, you just have to be realistic with yourself, if your art and connections were good, the price will go up itself
(5/12) Story,
You might not have a crazy story like mine, but everyone have their stories weather a happy one or a life full of struggle, turn that story into a weapon and tell it through your art…
(6/12) Connections
You can start making connections, no matter how big or small they are everyone is trying to lift you up.
There is something more important than connections and that’s STRONG CONNECTIONS
You can make any connection stronger by interacting more with the person
(7/12) Twitter Space Marketing,
You might wait in line for hours, you might not get the chance, but once you are up there speaking with confidence people will recognize your brand, this won’t promise you sales but if you be consistent it brings you connections and exposure.
(8/12) Consistency,
If you be active for one week then you won’t show up for the entire next week, you will lose a lot of opportunity and NFT space is going fast if you don’t have a big network people might start to forget you, it’s sad but it’s true..
So always have balance.
(9/12) Art Thread Share,
there are many legit ones who actually collect like trusted collectors:
1/ you gotta understand what works for others doesn’t mean it works for you too, so you have to find your own strategy, this i how i made it…
2/ Community Building: through holding twitter spaces, making tons of strong connections, showing everyone love, buying NFTs from them, creating trust, good vibes only & etc…
