Ultimately, I see he was charged with uttering a threat to kill or seriously injure Justin Trudeau. He was also charged with 21 separate firearms charges related to his having American-style semi-automatic weapons etc. Folks are alleging and I am guessing you're one..? /1

An intentional cover to ... what? Make it seem like Justin is universally loved? I think we all know that's not true. dIn one other case, one man killed his mother first so she wouldn't be disappointed after he killed Trudeau and he set out driving ... for Ottawa /2

By your definition, he too could be charged with attempted murder? Attempted murder is REALLY hard to prove, because you have to prove murderous intent, since they didn't succeed. The military reservist from Manitoba had a 'note' he wanted to give to Justin that... /3

Made no mention of killing him. In trial his lawyer would have referred to the note and said "Who gives someone a note before they kill them?" and that would be that. You want the charges to stick cause obvs this person needs help. /4

They charged him correctly with the threats and weapons charges. That will see him spend a significant time behind bars and hopefully he'll get the mental help he clearly needs. But -- this is why folks need to stop with the Q-Anon bullsh#it, and the dangerous political /5

rhetoric that drives people to believe this person is executing criminal-level behavior and for reasons nobody has ever been able to correctly explain - somehow everyone turns a blind eye to this 'obvious' criminality. I could say the exact same of Donald Trump... /6

But I should not have and that's my bad. But Trump is being investigated for crimes against his country and some folks have already pled guilty to that exact charge, so there was an admitted conspiracy at play and we'll see if Donald is guilty of involvement. /7

Whatever your feelings on Justin - and mine are NOT warm and fuzzy at all - I think he's a jerk, a liar, and probably an overconfident self-promoting twit. But he does not deserve violence against himself or his family and in my view, he will not win another term. /8

There was a chance for Canadians to speak on his government's handling of the pandemic, restrictions, vaccines, and all of it. It was called an election and he won. He had his mandate reduced to minority gov so he had to adopt some NDP policies to continue ... but he did. /9

I get folks are upset he won and they don't like him or his policies - believe me - I GET THAT. But he did. And the correct action is not to spread so many lies online that folks become riled up with lies, load shotguns, and drive to our capital to kill him, OR to.. /10

Park their trucks on Sparks or Wellington Streets and inflate a hotub and have 3 months of Weiner roasts over a garbage can fire and corrupting the flag with a swear word and slapping that sticker on the back of their truck where 5 year-olds can learn that word too soon. /11

Folks are wound up cause there's a cover-up of a nutjob who uttered threats and began to act them out. Why? Because they want to press for their cause off that damaged young man who genuinely believed the lies coming from the hard-alt-right. /12

Stop and think about that. That's WRONG. And lying is wrong, even if it's about an admitted liar who won several elections. Justin can be defeated and pushed out of running our government, but the honest way to do that is at the polls and by telling the TRUTH. /13

Pepe Polyester who I pray does NOT lead the Conservatives in the next election is a greasy, slimy character who I wouldn't even buy a used car from. The Conservative party can and must do better than these 'alternative facts' people that spew lies and half-truths. /14

AS LONG AS the right runs around crying that the sucker who believed their lies and became so outraged nobody was DOING anything to stop xxx criminal actions or from destroying the fabric of our nation -- the RIGHT is who is destroying the country. /15

If you can't see that, you are too. We need to get back to bipartisanship, showing up for hearings on bills and getting changes in those laws, and then supporting the changed bill. Instead, the CPC has voted down every piece of gov't legislation presented. Every. Last. One. /16

I had previously voted conservative cause under Harper there was still a pretense of working across the aisle at the very least. This opposition by opposing everything presented in the house without even showing up for committee work, and negotiating changes. /17

That's not governing or doing the job they were sent to Ottawa to do. That is giving voters across this nation the middle finger and I blame ALL parties in the house for this except the NDP - cause they convinced the Libs to deliver some promises for citizens. /18

This turned into a rant, but dammit if the rest of you can't see how obstructionist governance only serves to divide this nation, with lies, half-truths and outrage that leads to violence and uncivil behavior? Well, that's very unCanadian of you. /19

So please, PLEASE stop with the conspiracy craziness, with the "hang Justin" and all of it. Please. And most of all, please don't put a word so vulgar on the back of your truck, that my neighbours 4-year-old says it out loud and asks what it means. #Decency #RememberThat ??
