So King Lockdowner Gavin Newsom is running ads in FL talking about freedom and planning a presidential run. His supporters will claim his Covid policies saved lives (easily debunked by age adjusted data), but how will they defend the constant hypocrisy? Let's review. 🧵 1/

First, the infamous French Laundry dinner in Nov. 2020 when state mandates restricted gatherings between multiple households, indoor dining was illegal in many counties, and masks were to be worn "between bites." Newsom ate maskless indoors with CMA lobbyists and lied about it. 2

CA had the longest school closures in the country, with many schools not opening until fall 2021. Yet by Oct/Nov 2020, all of Newsom's kids were in person full time at private schools. 3/ politico.com/states/califor…

In March 2021, when millions of CA kids had been stuck behind screens for a year, Newsom again LIED that he and his wife were "living through Zoom school." He later admitted his own kids had been in person since fall. 4/ politico.com/states/califor…

In July 2020 Newsom ordered businesses including wineries closed in many CA counties, while his own winery was allowed to remain open. While technically "legal" this was due to unscientific rules for business closures based on "test positivity rate" 5/

Despite forcing masks on kids as young as two for schools and summer camps, in summer 2021 Newsom sent his own kids to a summer camp that did not require masks indoors. He only pulled the kids when photos surfaced which included his own son maskless. 6/ foxnews.com/politics/gavin…

In Jan. 2022 Newsom didn't wear a mask at the NFC championship game despite a county mask mandate for large events (mandate only enabled due to CA State of Emergency still in effect.) Toddlers were still masked statewide at school. 7/ deadline.com/2022/01/gavin-…

Newsom wants to madate Covid vax for all CA kids, though sources say Newsom's own kids have medical vaccine exemptions. Can't prove this, but in 2019 Newsom said "I do legitimately have concerns about a bureaucrat making a decision that is very personal" in regard to vaccines. 8/

Although he later signed the bill limiting medical exemptions, in 2019 Newsom was praised by RFK Jr when he said “I’m a parent. I don’t want someone that the governor appointed to make a decision for my family.” 9/ humanevents.com/2021/09/09/exc…

In 2021 Newsom admitted his own 12 yr old daughter was not yet vaccinated for Covid because she had a "series of shots to get through first." There is NO "series" due at age 12, therefore Newsom's daughter must have been behind on routine vaccinations. 10/abc10.com/article/news/v…

And while wanting to force the vax on 5 year olds to attend school, Newsom APPEALED a federal vax mandate for CA prison guards on behalf of their union, claiming many would quit if forced to vaccinate. 11/ dailybreeze.com/2021/10/15/new…

This is not just hypocrisy. Newsom was NEVER afraid of Covid. He didn't believe it was dangerous to eat indoors in large groups, he kept his own business open, he didn't think school was unsafe, he didn't believe in masks, and he may not even believe strongly in vaccines. 12/

So Newsom supporters, what say you? Can you defend his lockdowns, school closures, vax and mask mandates etc. when he never believed that any of these things were necessary? He hurt children, destroyed livelihoods, caused untold suffering in CA. He should NEVER be president. end/
