(2/10) Why 🇮🇳1 ?
- India has 5th largest GDP
- ~1.4 billion people
- Many mega NFT collectors ($10m+ buys) are of Indian decent
- India has a vibrant crypto community, @0xPolygon was founded there
- Bullish on India's long term GDP growth
(3/10) Why Flag 1?
- 3 digits went from not minted to worth $40k in a matter of weeks, I think flag 1 may do the same
- flag 1 can launch coins, telecom services, payment networks, shopping, help onboard a nation to web3
- Visually flag 1 looks amazing imo
(4/10) Why Flags?
- I am a trader, look at what market participants do
- In 3 days it went from 0 flags on my feed to endless flags on my feed & in my group chats
- Many flags were on new or newish web3 users
- Last time people mass changed their name, April pre-digit mania
(5/10) Why Flags Grail Asset?
- I wanted to size up flag allocation
- Given low mint price ($10/flag) of flag###, I would have needed to buy 100s of flags add to my position
- The entire reason I like flags is their affordability, didn't want to compete with new ENS buyers
(6/10) Grails as Brands
- While many talk of the flex, I think $ENS grail assets are about ability to create a brand
- I have launched #bcard off 008.eth brand, I plan to continue to invest in 008 branding go forward
- 🇮🇳1 is perfect for a company launching an 🇮🇳web3 brand
(7/10) 200k ENS Community P1
- I've contemplated what's the next evolution past 10k club
- is it 100k club, words?
- Going from ~10k to 100k is a big leap
- And then it hit me ... 999 clubs of flags (1110 members, that's how we roll)
(8/10) 200k ENS Community P2
- The evolution is a horizontally scaling 200k project
- High demand countries, 🇦🇺, 🇺🇸, 🇦🇪, 🇨🇭, 🇸🇬, 🇨🇳 will form first ... ok that's 7k names
- Then 🇮🇳, 🇬🇧, 🇫🇷, 🇰🇷, 🇧🇷, 🇻🇳, another 7k
- On its own time project will grow, allowing $10 entry to ENS
(9/10) Why do People Like Clubs?
- it's clear most NFT projects succeed due to community
- A keyword community is less compelling than a 🇦🇺999 Club for Aussies interested in Web3
- Clubs = like minded people in 1 place = easier connections
(10/10) Why Write this Post?
-Truly taken back by response to @danielgothits
- Daniel calls culture better than anyone in web3 & in my experience operates w/ incredible integrity
- I could not stand idly as people wrote baseless claims against a person so dedicated to ENS
(11/11) Why do People Have Multiple Wallets?
- Security Diversification
- Minting Wallets (minting is not secure, need wallet dedicated to this risk)
- Vault Wallet
- Privacy
- Accounting reasons

- IRL I've traveled to 30+ countries
- Currently collecting at least 1 🇧🇷999 from each country I've visited IRL
- During the post-Covid era, international travel has been difficult
- Now I can visit newly forming meta-countries: 🇮🇸999
(2/10) Web 3 is about Identity
- The #999Passport allows us to build our identity to include the places we've traveled and are interested in
- Everyone has their $ENS, next people will add their origin (their pseudonymous personality's origin)
- We can immigrate on-chain
(3/10) Price Point
- In ENS it's not just the price, it's the carry cost
- 3 & 4 character names are $53 & $13 per month ... that's too high to for mass adoption
- #999Passport only is $0.42/month
- Anyone and everyone semi-interested in $ENS can afford one
(1/10) Liquidity is the core factor on why 3 & 4 digits will likely accrue outsized value in ENS ecosystem
- Liquidity begets liquidity
- ENS volume last 2 wks > all volume before
- 3 & 4 digits initial liquidity was from NFT degens, now being joined by freshly funded wallet
(2/10) Low Transaction Fees
- ENS has no royalty fees on transactions
- OS charges their standard 2.5%
- Resulting in ENS having the lowest possible fees on OS
- Larva Labs charges 0% on punks, Yuga charges 2.5%, Art Blocks 5%, Azuki 5%, NFT Worlds 8.5%
(3/10) Buyer Aggressiveness
- Example: 4d costs is listed for 1.5 ETH
- If fee 2.5%, buyer will need to sell for 1.54 ETH to be break even
- If fee 7.5%, it's 1.62 ETH
- Intuitively buyers can be more aggressive, if fees are lower
