Last night, Senate Republicans passed a constitutional amendment that would declare that there is no right to an abortion. It sets the stage to enact extreme abortion bans, like in Ohio, which led to a ten-year-old rape victim needing to leave the state to get an abortion.
The amendments would also make Voter ID constitutional, eliminate the office of Lt. Governor, require election audits, and make it easier to get rid of environmental and consumer regulations. It's a right-wing wet dream.
As Constitutional amendments, this legislation has to pass the legislature again next year. Then it goes up for a public vote.

1) Contact your Senator and House member. It's probably going to pass today, but the louder you get, the more they know they'll pay a price next time.

4) Raise awareness in your social circles. This could be on the ballot by May 2023. If it is, we must defeat it to protect women's rights and free and fair elections in PA.
