So lots of interest in Faraja from @SafaricomPLC.

Here are a few notes that we've picked.

1. Faraja is simply a Buy Now, Pay Later [BNPL] product.

Think of it as a short term loan at 0% interest to ONLY pay for goods at a PRE-APPROVED list of merchants. Image
2. The key players here are:

->Safaricom - the platform provider
->Equity Bank - the financing institution
->Merchants - they avail the product
->You who borrows the money from Safaricom/Equity and uses it to pay the merchants.
->Edomx Ltd who own the product
