A brief thread on a few under-the-radar Ligue 1 transfers so far this summer:

🇲🇦 Zakaria Aboukhlal (2000) to Toulouse:

Hit a wall at AZ Alkmaar; a move to promoted Toulouse is a fresh start in a new environment. Two-footed shift-and-shooter that can play across the forward line and support focal points. Solid mover and athlete. Untapped potential.

🇫🇷 Brayann Pereira (2003) to AJ Auxerre:

AJA pinch the best full-back at this year's #U19EURO from RC Lens' B team. Effective outlet going both ways – direct attacker as a dribbler and crosser, solid defender with quick feet and robustness. First step into senior football.

🇫🇷 Evann Guessand (2001) to FC Nantes:

Multi-faceted forward that combines size with mobility and skill. Plays point, drifts wide, links play and beats players, darts off shoulders and gets chances. Big margin to improve finishing. Loan move that should have happened last year.

🇫🇷 Johann Lepenant (2002) to Olympique Lyonnais:

One of our favourites over the last 18 months. Up-tempo number 6/8 with defensive tenacity and clean technique. Similar style and skillset to Maxence Caqueret – Lepenant can partner him initially and replace him eventually.
