I feel like I should make a anti-demonization shark post from the sheer amount of wojaks that seem to still be in 1975 and treat these animals like monsters, and used “attacks” to validate their points and further spread misinformation, like brugh how ignorant bruh.
Failing to recognize that sharks are just wild animals meaning they are unpredictable if no professional handling is around and that they can be rather opportunistic, but most of the time don’t perceive humans as prey as attacks are usually just sharks being curious or defensive.
“Uhh but the attacks like the USS indianapolis or Jaws, or the people that did get attacked by sharks” So what? Those are never good excuses to why sharks should be demonized as it further causes more problems and I don’t care if I sound harsh but-

Also no I’m not demonizing dolphins, it’s a meme that over exaggerated for the sake of comedic purposes tho a lot of the exaggerations are actually true, I don’t hate dolphins as I actually love them with the commerson’s dolphin being no.1 favorite dolphin after orca whales.
