In a devastating blow to the planet, Senator Manchin informed Dem leadership last night that he will not support the climate, justice, and clean energy portions of the legislative package that has been mired in negotiations since December 2021.

Here's what needs to happen next:

Now @POTUS must use executive action and existing regulatory authorities to address the climate crisis. And #OceanClimateAction must be part of the solution.

Ocean-based climate solutions can provide up to 20% of the emissions reductions we need to reach climate goals.
