Treasure hunting can be a bit of a hit or a miss venture at times in this game. Wherever @WildWoL_Ishgard got this map from, it doesn't seem to be pointing our heroes in the right direction. 1/6
Ilii's demi-ace, & for the sake of fairness I can't imagine too many people falling for her. In spite of her maturity & eloquence, she still radiates, "protecc da smol," energy to a few people, especially among other Lalas. Not exactly the most romanceable person in the world-
-when your own people seem to instinctually condescend to you just because you're shy. I feel like I'm already testing my limits as a creator by shipping her with Gilgamesh, a much older & more classic FF mainstay character, so it's half self-consciousness over my WoL & half for-
-the sake of balance that Iliira is hard to love.
That being said, considering I have the likes of G'raha & Aymeric as platonic friends with Ilii, the only likely person I can think of with an unrequited crush on her would be Haurchefant. It was an open secret that just about-
-It's not so much a matter of forgiving Yotsuyu or Fordola for me as it is being able to accept that a female villain is allowed to be as nuanced as male villains & having compassion for them.
-Dalamud Red, Greg color of choice. Hunter, Deepwood, & Nophica Greens, my beloveds.-
-Crystal Tower has lost any & all wonder & mystique for me. I hate it, sorry G'raha.
-I hate Void Ark, but the rest of Shadow of Mhach is an underrated masterpiece & I love getting it in raid. But I'm upset that we can't pet Cait Sith. That's a crime.
-Ivalice story is shit, but-
-the mechanics are legit fun.
-NieR raids got me more interested in Drakengard & Replicant than Automata, & Sharp Turn in Puppet's Bunker is still hot bullshit.
-Aglaia got me more confident in healing overall. I wann hug Byregot & Azeyma, Rhalgr's fight is mean & does my potent-
Fake: Iliira's the type of person who says she loves horror, only to end up a nervous, jumpy wreck all the way through a haunted house. Easily startled, a bit shrieky, & regretting her life choices. But when the entire ordeal is over, she's a giggly mess & high off of the slight-
-adrenaline rush. The definition of insanity follows as she asks to do it again. She really DOES like horror, but after the fact.
Real: When compared to getting body-snatched, eaten at from the inside by primordial light, or fighting gods, an actual haunted house is like shore-
-leave to Ilii. She's ridiculously curious about the supernatural, & not like to get terribly serious about the situation unless circumstances call for it. Voidsent & roaming ghouls are no joke ofc, but she loves a good mystery. And she's a careful tater who knows better than-
In spite of how long she's lived in Thanalan, Iliira doesn't have the greatest tolerance towards spicy foods. Spices used in desserts are fair game, but savory spices that bring on the heat are a no-go. Hell, when she was little, black pepper was way too spicy for her! Nowadays-
-her tolerance has increased a little bit after her time spent recovering in Thavnair. She's okay with a little tingle, but don't expect her to enjoy her mouth burning. She's gone a long way from a family full of burning-mouthed spice enjoyers. She truly was the black karakul of-
-the family, even in that regard.
I like to imagine Gilgamesh, on the other hand, being more taken with spicy food. Much higher tolerance than Ilii, & the dumb bastard intentionally likes to test his mettle with increasingly hot spices. But even he has his limits, not that he'd-
