If you attended Trotcon this weekend you may have seen people carrying green plushies around. These are called "Anonfillies" and are part of the same project.
Its important to stress that they should NOT be judged as hate symbols, as they're totally separate concepts.
The idea behind Aryanne is simple: use it as a in-group identifier for other right-wing members of the pony community who support nazism, while having just enough plausible deniability to make anyone who asks questions seem like they're overreacting.
The common refrain from people who defend Aryanne are that its just a joke or satire.
But some /mlp/ users have grown weary of this excuse and seem to be growing tired of the nazis currently infesting the board.
The entire project has been fraught with tension, with right-wing users upset at the organizers for "caving to the mob" with regards to removing the swastika, to other anons concerned about having to explain why they have nazi pony memorabilia in their house.
My honest recommendation to pony convention staff going forward:
Don't allow this shit to even enter your convention space. The design is incredibly easy to spot, even without the swastika. If you allow this at your con you are creating a place for nazis to thrive.
And again, while people into the "Anonfilly" character do tend to be edgelords, I think the focus should remain on dealing with the more obviously hateful Aryanne character.
Of course you should probably still be wary of anyone with one or any of the other planned plushies.

The right's messaging about LGBT folks is specifically worded to imply that we are coming for other people's kids when the exact opposite is true.
Right-wingers are the ones actually coming for other people's kids, oftentimes travelling cross-country to terrorize queer events.
Its important to understand that the wording here is deliberate. Even if its an event that only consenting parents attended, its still an attack against YOUR kids, somehow.
Thus you get fascists in libraries yelling about their daughters (who didn't actually attend the event)
If you point this out to fascists, the replies range from equating drag shows to beating and starving to making up laws that don't actually exist.
The logic doesn't really matter here. Queer people existing AT ALL is an affront to them, and all their arguments stem from that.
So elon musk reposted a Hard Drive article without credit and when he got called out for it (and ratio'd) he deleted the original post and whined about wokeness.
To top it all off he then declared the meme wasn't that funny anyway so THERE. Actual spoiled child behavior lmao.
Do people honestly think this guy is some bastion of free speech? I guess if you're definition of the term means "I can be a shithead to anyone I don't like with no consequences" then he's your guy.
I don't understand how you can have billions of dollars and still care about shitposting on twitter. If I had that much money I'd open a world-class music studio solely for pony and furry music groups and you would see me here maybe once a month.
musk does not understand twitter's problems on a fundamental level. people who believe he is going to unban certain accounts and turn twitter into a rightwing utopia are in for a rude awakening.
he has no clue what he's doing.
twitter is imagined as a leftist echo chamber that elon musk will defeat, but thats merely a fantasy. bigots and fascists thrive on this website. somehow despite the "bias" I can always find a chorus of edgelords whining about twitter while STILL BEING ON TWITTER, paradoxically.
It may seem silly, but the main reason the furry fandom has been so successful in its fight against attempted fascist infiltration is that fascism operates on shame, repression and self-hatred, three things furries tend to lack in most instances.
This is anathema to nazis.
See fascism preaches that you are Not Special. You are a part of a whole, a cog in the great machine of western civilization. Your self worth is measured in how useful you are to propagating Western Civilization, your people's birthrates, societal norms and traditions, etc.
Furries wholly reject this thinking. In the furry community, you are the master of your own destiny. The creator of your own identity. Don't like your body? Get a new one, or several. You can be anyone and anything. You are MORE than what you were born as.
A couple nazis attempted to infiltrate this weekends Harmonyponycon in Dallas and failed spectacularly.
One was wearing a "Make Killing Great Again" hoodie and was dealt with by staff. Another spread stickers referencing a racist pony image and were all removed by con attendees
The hoodie is pretty self explanatory. But the Applejack picture is a bit more subtle. The original artwork depicts Applejack residing over a plantation of zebras who perform manual labor for her.
To make sure the point gets across, one is even eating a watermelon.
The purpose of stickers like this is to be a dogwhistle for racism and right-wing ideology in the My Little Pony fandom. It works because without prior knowledge you wouldn't know its purpose.
But Applejack has long been used in racist "jokes" in the fandom.
One of the most sinister things the right has achieved in US history is convincing half the country that "politics" is some abstract, theoretical thing wholly separated from a person's identity and morality.
In fact the opposite is true. Your politics informs who you are.
This is how you get so many white conservatives breathlessly trying to debate the right for certain people to exist. They've turned politics into a game, like its a debate club match. Some of them actually believe you can just turn "politics" off like a light switch.
This difference in perception is split neatly between left and right.
By design the right preaches that political differences are "no big deal" and that "echo chambers are bad".
This is because those on the right generally have little to fear from "political differences".
