Dave Johnson & NuTSR's "Star Frontiers" playtest has been leaked, and it's insanely racist.
It literally has a "Negro" race listed as a subspecies of the superior "Nordic" race. Dave's "Negro" race is "thick bodied," strong, and low intelligence.
NuTSR is straight-up KKK trash.
"Is your character a social justice warrior warrior pushing their values on others?"
"No one likes no it alls"
Dave Johnson: "not unlike races in the real world… some races are superior to others."
What a piece of nazi trash.
Aside from being racist trash, the writing and rules are also garbage.
Half damage after 4 days without sleep, but you can survive another 930 hours with no more damage? Why 1024 hours, exactly? What even is this?
Apparently Star Frontiers New Genesis has "secret cults such as Mason" and "radical things like BLM or ANTIFA"
Dave Johnson, neo-Nazi enthusiast, is obsessed with Antifa.
"A player can have a lot of fun with how their character reacts to someone's skin color, big lips, or broad nose"
-Dave Johnson
Remember Dave's fatphobia? In his game, obesity is a "noticeable deformity"
Presumably the description of "socially inept" is a sign that every character in Dave's game is cishet.
Ugh.
Star Frontiers New Genesis is set in a fictional galaxy far far away, where there are "subraces" such as "African, Asain, Mexican etc"

Wizards has filed an injunction against NuTSR to stop them from releasing "blatantly racist and transphobic" and "despicable content" using trademarks that belong to WotC.
This thread will be updated as we get through the documents, there are three and they're long.
The three documents are: 1. Wizards' motion for a preliminary injunction 2. Declaration of support from Wizards' counsel 3. Declaration of support from the Director of Publishing and Licensing for Wizards of the Coast
Let's start with the motion for a preliminary injunction. That's where someone asks the court to put the brakes on the other party while a court case has time to play out.
Wizards is asking the judge to prevent NuTSR from releasing Star Frontiers New Genesis.
A nuclear truth bomb about NuTSR and Justin Lanasa just dropped from @realwizardtower. After watching the video and taking notes, here is a thread with some of the key points.
🧵 1/27
Context: this is Don Semora, owner of Wizard Tower Games, who Justin Lanasa used last year, making promises about TSR in order to get access to Don's game design skills and printing press.
When Don learned what Justin was really like, he left - but kept the receipts.
🧵 2/27
The first two minutes are background, then at 2:45 Don reveals that everything he's about to say is extensively documented.
3:15 it turns out that NuTSR, in a Nixonian move, recorded every phone and video call they had - and now Don has them.
🧵 3/27
So… Ernie Gygax has confirmed that the horribly racist / fascist / sexist / generally trash "Star Frontiers New Genesis" manuscript is real.
Let's dive into his interview with @jedion357 and see what else he had to say…
oh dear
🧵 1/25
7:02 Tom mentions Justin et al trolling him, attacking his special needs daughter, etc.
Ernie claims it's all the work of some "anarchist" pretending to be NuTSR, but "I still have to admit that the way Justin goes and deals with social media is remedial."
🧵 2/25
7:57 Ernie says Justin is not paying him anything right now, and hopes someday he will get a job out of all this, but "I'm having to take Justin('s promises) on just a handshake and a prayer."
A source has sent us a complete copy of the latest Star Frontiers New Genesis from NuTSR.
Let's have a look.
(Note: we'll be highlighting some passages of text. If you see blue or pink highlighting, that's us selecting the text in the PDF)
The first thing that stands out is that there's no way this could be "photoshopped."
To fake this, you'd have to retype the entire document in order to get the text to flow properly. Anyone can look at the spacing of the letters to see this.
The timestamp on this PDF cannot be altered.
It shows that it was created in February, two months before Dave Johnson's racist tweets came to public attention.
(Dave uses a lot of different "Johnsons" in his work, we assume they're fake names)
