@IBCNFTs @LidinPatrik IBCNFTs Discord went public, raising a question: why another Discord server?

@IBCNFTs is a growing platform; we provide info, data, tools, & resources. Many moving parts. Comms with projects needed to be streamlined, ways to handle requests, support, reports, and so on.

All of this can be handled through Discord, but it does require a specific server setup. Adding that scope to IBC Frens Discord is messy. IBC Frens Discord will continue focusing on IBC Frens NFTs + Community. IBCNFTs Discord is dedicated to the platform we’re building.

Commission refunds for IBC Frens holders when staking with our validators are delayed. It’s intentional; more details further in this thread. But first, to make up for this delay, we’ll airdrop rewards in validator-related tokens - $STARS, $ROWAN, $BCNA.

We evaluated our approach over the past 6 months.

While we are arguably one of the most successful NFT projects in the ecosystem, there’s a lack of understanding of our utility & scope.

Floor prices and recent secondary are indicators of that. We also receive many q's.

While we've been relatively successful with engagement and adoption. And very successful with deliveries, adding utility, adding talent, utilizing resources, and executing on our plan. Too few know this outside the community members that are heavily involved.

We are executing on our long-term plan, it's feasible, effectively our project is sustainable. Since Feb we’ve said that we have a multi-year journey ahead, IBC Frens at the core, a lifetime that is 1:1 with the IBC eco. But we owe it to our community and team to improve.

We need to tweak certain parts of our project and change our approach so that more people outside our existing community understand what we are building. We owe it to our community, our team and ourselves. One little change is the addition of these Spacelog threads.

Reason why we delay the delivery of commission refunds is this change. We're working on an IBC Frens story arch, complete with visuals, and paired with on-chain interaction tied to holding and accessing our utility. Visual storylines paired with applications + NFTs.

We are working on a story arch for Frens Universe & Frensville. We’ll pair the utility/perks with storylines, visualizations, NFTs, and applications. The NFTs will be utility-based and meant to hodl, although there'll undoubtedly be secondary market activity around them.

We're wrapping up dev work on IBCNFTs.com which will free up dev to work on the technical aspects around NFTs and apps tied to IBC Frens and IBCFrens.com. Bringing gamification, interactive journeys, & fun - all tied to the utility of IBC Frens NFT.

All of this will require work, artist is already working on the visual aspects story and NFTs. Another person is working on the story arch which will be polished and finished together with the community. And soon, one of the developers will tackle the technical aspects.

It'll all be worth it as we’ll bring an even greater level of quality to the NFT scene alongside what we’re building with @IBCNFTs. A greater understanding, tangible aspects to interact with, a rich story, tons of illustrations and visual elements. In short: FUN times.

Community events:

#DrawAFren: monthly event, holders can submit drawings based on our coloring books. Winners earn a spot as creators in upcoming (Q4) IBC Frens Community Collection. Besides becoming creators of NFTs, each winner/creator will receive lifetime royalties.

Game Nights: monthly game nights together with weekly AMAs, held 1-2 times per month, of course, with prizes.

Board Game Week: we’re working on a concept for a 1-week board game tournament once per month that stretches from Monday to Sunday.

420 Gang: 420 was always integral to IBC Frens and something we nurtured through art and partnerships since February. We’ll be supporting and helping shape a sub-community around 420 culture within the framework of IBC Frens.

IBC Bot (feature-rich Discord bot) was rolled out in several Secret NFT projects. We’re still in a beta testing phase, gathering input on the current version. After we are satisfied with the beta testing, we’ll make an official release. After that: port to more chains.

Seeing good use of the @StargazeZone Snapshot tool (tools.ibcnfts.com/stargaze-snaps…). Airdrop tool is underway. Many projects are waiting for the full Snapshot > Airdrop flow, including us.

On Monday, we deployed the latest version of our cross-chain rarity tool to @akashnet_!

Tool is still in development. A breeze to use. We’ve improved performance by 10x+ since 2-3 weeks ago, which was deemed a blocker for release. We managed to resolve some Akash-specific issues relating to endpoints and databases. Devs have done a tremendous job with this.

We’ve cut contract processing time for the tool significantly. In previous versions, collections of 5,000 NFTs would take up to 10 min. Same contracts now takes ~15 sec. It’s taken time to build, but we’re true to web3 & blockchain, using @AkashNet_ to a great extent.

Validator update:

Our validators in @StargazeZone, @BitCannaGlobal and @sifchain are doing good. We’ve performed several updates, including one in $EVMOS for our @EvmosOrg validator. Uptime and positions are good. However, our position in Evmos need to improve, quickly.

We’ve had two big delegations pulled without notice which sees us in position 149/150 in @Evmos. Meaning that we require more support from the community to remain in the set. We're working on removing the risk of dropping out of active set. All support is welcome. $EVMOS
