For the Town to clean up the property, it is mucho bucks (not likely to happen), or continue to apply for grants (which has been done before) to make it more marketable #edc0720

One adjacent property owner had previously purchased the lot from the Town and then did nothing with it, hence dropping it back to town ownership (via tax taking) and bringing us to where we are. #edc0720

Bottom line property needs to be cleaned, could be done with neighboring owners willingness and help ... Without their cooperation the Town approach will likely be via grants (and a slow road) #edc0720

There is more EPA money this year than prior so that helps, would develop a brown field application to start the process of getting into queue for approvals and some funding #edc0720

Meeting adjourns with action to update in 1 year after the grant cycles, DEP and EPA are complete. #edc0720
