Megumi gets captured by a curse user.

The entire point of it is to lure Gojo Satoru into their trap by using a weakness they've considered to be true after their endless hours of researching about the man's life. Megumi is apparently Gojo's ward, someone he's been

watching over for years. He has to mean something to Gojo, right?

The curse users are weak, even weaker than Megumi himself. One doesn't even have an innate cursed technique, so how could the boy possibly let himself be captured by those weaklings?

Gojo plays by their little game, teleporting to the place the curse user had asked him to go. The man tips his chin up the moment he sees Megumi. There is a strange expression on his face, he's looking a bit stiff, lips thinned into a line. "So, what is it that you want?"

The curse user snickers, but there's an apparent tremble in his countenance. "You, of course, or I'll kill this boy right here!" He emphasizes in exclamation by raising a knife to Megumi's neck. The boy's hands are tied behind his back, sigils carved into the ropes to keep him

in his place.

Gojo cackles in amusement. He stands tall, lifting his head. There's a strange glint in his eyes. "Do it then."

The curse user sputters, eyes looking back and forth between Gojo and the boy. "B-b-but you --"

This wasn't how the situation was supposed to go.

Megumi is Gojo Satoru's ward, someone important to the strongest sorcerer. Does he not care about the boy at all?!

Megumi is keeping his head down, eyes staring at the ground flatly. The curse user's lips twitch bitterly, gripping the boy's head up harshly as he threatens

the knife even closer to his pale skin. "I'll kill him. I swear I'll do it!"

"Then what are you waiting for?" Gojo muses.

The curse user is out of options; then, in that split second when he tries to scramble for a new script, he finds himself face down into the hard ground.

Megumi is standing above him, hands still tied behind his back but his boot is pressing down on the curse user's neck. Eh -- how did the boy move so quickly?! He hears Megumi grunts out something he can't make out, before a sharp, burning ache shoots up in his spine as Megumi

snaps his neck.

"Tch," Gojo snorts in amusement, "nobody's unpredictable these days!"

Megumi huffs out harshly, looking up. He steps away from the curse user's dead body with a kick to his side, grimacing as the man walks up to him. "Could you please?" He gestures to his tied

up hands.

Gojo pretends to think it over, index finger and thumb brushing over his chin, "hmm, should I? You look too cute with your hands tied."

"Sensei, I'm not playing around." Megumi sneers.

Gojo raises his palms. "Sheesh, so cold!" He puckers his lips into

a pout as he walks behind the boy. The bindings give away with a quick blow, Megumi grunting as he rubs his wrists. He mutters out a quick thanks as he begins to walk away from the scene.

But is stopped momentarily by a hand gripping his shoulder, pulling Megumi

back into a firm figure, "too careless, Megumi. What were you thinking?" Gojo breathes into his ear.

Megumi's breathing fastens, his lips twitching in anger. "Nothing!" He slaps the man's hand away, now stomping away.

Gojo stares after him in confusion. "Teenagers." He sighs.

A deep shade of red burns with humiliation on Megumi's cheeks. You fool. You absolute fool.

What were you thinking allowing yourself to become a hostage, just to see what'd he do?
