🧵The movie Parasite has already showed us the difference between proletariat and lumpenproletariat, the productive worker and service worker (although the movie has bourgeois aesthetics).
First, the story of the movie combine Pinocchio and Carl Jung's Aion as its background, to criticize Jordan Peterson's "psychologism" in an esoteric way.
Geppetto is a skillful carpenter, he made the puppy pinocchio, due to his craftmanship it became lifeful.

In the movie, the father of the poor family is Geppeto with bad skill and laziness. He even can't fold the pizza boxes properly. He failed again and again in his life.
Pinocchio is a puppy, after he lied, the angle punished him by making his nose growing long.

In the story, the son is the Pinocchio without proper moral education, he became a scammer.
But he shared the same adventure as the Pinocchio, to rescue the father.

By doing that, Pinocchio was rewared a real body by the angle, in turn, the son lost his real body.
The mother is Geppetto's cat, they are violent. In both movie, they represent the unfeminine partner.
The daughter is Geppetto's goldfish, Cleo. The fish tank/tub represent baptismal pool. The goldfish and daughter haven't left their baptismal pool yet, it means they are naïve, and suppose to be innocent.
But the daughter isn't innocent at all. And another thing worths notice is that, the director emphasized the daughter is a fish.

Due to what happened latter in the movie (being slaughtered by the "leviathan"), we can understand that her role is the Ichthys, the Jesus fish.
We already know, the Parasite is the upside-down of Pinocchio, everything nice before, now became miserable. They are lack of conscience- the Jiminy Cricket has been killed in the beginning of the movie. That's the dilemma of modern life according to the director.
The poor family is the lumpenproletariat, the unproductive labour, the service workers. They are teacher, doctor, artist, assistant and servant of the rich, they are the parasitic class.

They are in the Pleasure Island of Pinocchio's story.
But what is the host?

Boon's movie in 2006 named the Host, it's a sea monster, or the leviathan.

The same goes for Parasite. The Host is the leviathan, the monster in the basement.
The couple of basement is the real proletariat.

An ironic scene happened when they found out the poor family possessed the rich's house.

The servant gave a speech as if she is the speaker from DPRK
But that's not enough to say that they are proletariat. The essence of the host is that, they are the real onwer of the house.

No matter who possessed the ownership of the house, they always lived in it. They are in the house in nature, not by astract private property right.
More over, they are the beating heart of the house. The light is on and off, due to the underground man's effort. He is the productive worker who produce the basic production of our modern life.

The electric, the light, the food in the fringe, all that.
And the servant is the real mother of the children of the rich family. The rich mother has never touched her children in the whole movie, and complaint about their misbehaviour in the weekend. But the fact is, the little boy was trying to get back to the house for the servant.
The servant also represents asceticism. She was allergic to peaches, peach is the sexualize fruit, soft wet and hairy.

After the servant has been kicked out, the house became the place of orgy, both by the poor and the rich.
That's enough for us to understand the proletariat.

They are the asceticists, they know life is tough. They are the productive worker with no complaints, they respect the leader as if he is the guarantee of their cosmo. They are the mother of all people that nourish all people.
And yet, proletariat is the leviathan, they are the sacrifices in the Communion, according to Jung's Aion, the Jesus fish is the bait for hunting leviathan, so the daughter became the first victim in the slaughter at the latter part of the movie.
The proletariat/leviathan became the meats in the feast.

It's satire, for the parasite class and the ruling class can be lived in their "cycle of life", the proletariat (as people called them crackers in US) became the sacrifice.
What Boon critized here is that, according Jordan Peterson's psychologism, the evil is the psychology of the parasitic class. The leviathan is a spiritual substance.

"They don't love the poor, but just hate the rich."

But in social level, the levithan is real Body of the World.
But the parasite is in struggle with the levithan. For lumpenproletariat, this is the primary contradiction. Once the true owners of the house have been discovered, the society will be scrambled. They tried to let them disappear, and forget all the things that happened.
The little boy from the rich family was the first who discovered the levithan, the being underneath.

It looks like a Land-Back meme when he lived in an Indian tent and dressed up like an Indian.

But in fact it's a reference of Jung's theory.
According to Jung, the Indians in Pueblo would use a tent for curing. They put a water tank in it, boil water while the patient is in the tank. It symbolized an entrance to the underwould - the water world, or the belly of the whale.

The kid was undergoing the same process.
The kid had psychosis, as the daughter of the poor first found out.

But what is this psychosis? It's the very existence of the proletariat, the Real Thing outside of the Symbolic that he is living in.
The kid dressed up like an Indian, a primitive man, that also symbolizes the Original Man, Adam. The garden of the house is the Garden of Eden. By discovering the Real Thing, the levitant, he began to know the good and evil.
But in the social level, the knowledge of good and evil is regulated by the ruling class.

What's the proper dress, how does one smell, how is your manner.

They fixed the extrinsic value as the core of their morality, by which they killed the conscience of the modern society.
When the rich despised the smell of the proletariat, the poor guy finally found out, the real struggle isn't between him and the levitant, but the REAL class struggle, which is between the proletariat and the ruiling class. He suddenly discovered his real destiny.
It's enough for now.

Service workers is parasitic in some way, just as this movie pointed out.

They are not the subject of revolution. They are revolutionary when they found out their proper position. It's not about them at all.

Or just stay in this cycle, whatever.
