I've been on a political journey since the EU referendum in 2016 and I've found my sense of political self as a Lib Dem.
I'm going to stand in a "winnable" East of England seat and am ready to make that difference.
As a former SME owner - I get it - I understand the pressures on local businesses. I've a clean, green and collaborative agenda.
Teamwork is key; collaboration, compromise and common sense are the route to success.
Integrity and truth must be returned to the political landscape. The factionalism, division and populist rhetoric that we've seen under this incarnation of the Tories must end.
I'm a family man, a proud husband and father. What I'm going to give my community will ensure a better future for my children - and yours.
Effective and reasonable opposition matters; my methods are collegiate and welcoming. But always questioning poor decisions.
I'm against all forms of discrimination. I'd describe myself as having some 'woke' tendencies. #MentalHealthMatters as do kindness, decency and respect.
It'd be great to (e)meet as many of you as I can on here.
I'll always be ready with an opinion, happy to be proved wrong, and with (at least!) an attempt at a sense of humour.
Come and join me on my journey - our journey - I'll always try to give the voiceless a say.
Thanks for reading,
Tom
