I've been following the guy's career ever since his roles in abridged anime series. Apart from his YT videos, he often comes off as self-important, arrogant, and opening his mouth before thinking.

That's how you get all the bad takes and the consequences that follow it.
It's very easy to think that he sucks. This is the Internet though and since he's a celebrity of course you will get people vehemently defending the guy as well as getting on his ass.

I find it hilarious is that this whole recent situation is the tail end of his take about Holo.
I feel bad for Calli going out of her way to defend him and getting in trouble for it.

Should she have gotten for trouble for it? Of course not, but once you acknowledge trolls you are giving them ammo to do more.
