Senator Grassley sent a letter today describing the sordid operations of people at FBI HQ, in which the Hunter Biden foreign influence peddling case was closed in the fall of 2020, based on an assessment by Brian Austen that the case was the product of foreign disinformation.
Grassley claims that whistleblowers have come to him with evidence of political corruption at high levels in the FBI, designed to coverup Hunter’s crimes, close the investigation, and leak to the press everything was Russian disinformation.
The disinformation narrative began in July, when Congressional Democratic leaders Schumer , Pelosi and Schiff briefed Grassley and Johnson on information the Dems had showing Russia was trying to manipulate the Republican senators - and them promptly leaked to the press.
FBI played the same game of briefing the senators with supposedly classified information, then leaking it all to the press.
Austen is a name familiar to those who closely followed Russiagate. So far only one FBI employee has been brought to justice for that. It appears the corrupt seventh floor has learned but one lesson from Durham’s probe: They can get away with it.
“ If these allegations are true and accurate, the Justice Department and FBI are – and have been – institutionally corrupted to their very core to the point in which the United States Congress and the American people will have no confidence in the equal application of the law.”
Also worth noting that the information Auten assessed as disinformation ( likely consisting of emails and other documents from the laptop) could easily have been verified with some search warrants and interviews. The FBI HQ didn’t bother.

I’m watching Biden promoting booster shots and, if and when you catch COVID, Paxlovid for treatment. I’m not an expert, but I tested positive for COVID three days ago. Monday I called my doctor, who told me I qualified for Paxlovid due to my age and chronic asthma.
There was a catch, he said. He explained that there were zero trials that would show Paxlovid was effective on persons who are fully vaccinated. The only trials involved unvaccinated persons. So he couldn’t say for sure what the odds were that Paxlovid would have any effect.
So the recommendation was to give it a day and see whether my symptoms improved. If so, he didn’t think Paxlovid would help, especially given the documented instances of rebound, resulting in as bad or worse symptoms coming back several days after the virus went away.

@HansMahncke It’s possible that Grassley’s letter could spur Durham to go after FBI conspirators; we’ll have to wait and see. Regardless of what Durham decides, Auten being mixed up in deep-sixing the Hunter Biden investigation creates a huge mess for Durham in the Danchenko case.
@HansMahncke Auten was the FBI Intel analyst who helped interview Danchenko, was on the CH team from the beginning, argued strongly for the need to spy on Carter Page under a FISA warrant, knew at the time about the CIA referral of the possible scheme cooked up by Hillary to vilify Trump…
@HansMahncke …and became aware that Danchenko’s story didn’t match the Steele dossier. Horowitz reports that Auten thought Danchenko’s story about Millian and the anonymous call sounded suspicious (oh really?), but took no steps to correct the record at the FISA court.

There is something horribly wrong with our public health officials and the eager scientists who guzzle at the trough of billions of dollars of govt sponsored grants. This article details some serious fraud that took place back in 2006 in an Alzheimer’s study. This isn’t me saying
The article cites the work of a noted Vanderbilt neuroscientist and authors of a published study described in the journal, Science. dailykos.com/story/2022/7/2…
In short, these scientists found something odd in the 2006 report- the authors appear to have doctored the electronic images to fit an hypothesis. Since then no scientists have discovered the substance in any Alzheimer’s patient- a substance the authors claim clearly cause it.

Your govt health agencies are hard at work- recommending and mandating vaccines for which there is no supporting no data : ““It's like a horror movie I'm being forced to watch and I can't close my eyes,” one senior FDA official lamented.”
“People are getting bad advice and we can’t say anything.”

I grew up with tv shows such as The Twilight Zone and Outer Limits, which were chock full of stories involving alternate realities, different dimensions and mysterious time loops. I thinly we’re now living in one of those.
Take first the J6 hearings and the committee’s mantra: There were no major fraud and irregularities in the 2020 election, as Trump well knew. The committee has announced that anyone who rejected the election results and tried to change them might be guilty of a crime .
The alternate reality comes in when ordinary folks dig down into election details and discover issues that can’t be adequately explained- issues large enough and involving sufficient number of votes to cast doubt on the results in certain states. One of these is ballot harvesting

The headline to this article by @ProfMJCleveland says it all. The J6 Committee is all about presenting “Proof of Guilt” while trampling on First and Fifth Amendment rights (and don’t get me started on the Sixth Amendment right to trial by jury). thefederalist.com/2022/07/12/exc…
It’s been apparent for some time that the Committee views it’s role as adjudicating guilt or innocence and presenting to the public, in a canned Soviet style show trial, “proof of guilt.”
Early in the process several witnesses filed suit against the committee, arguing the Committee was operating as an executive agency rather than a legislative body. They all failed. That was before the show trial began. I wonder if any court would like to reconsider.
