*if your church wants to get in on helping make this happen, @ me
Few things about Strategic Launch:
1) every church wants to plant churches, but half of them fail and churches don’t wanna waste $. SLN has a 96% success rate.
2) SLN doesn’t just plant churches, they plant and coach *flagship* churches — planters that can build churches of a size to establish a beachhead in a city that will lead to more churches planted there.
Current avg size of SLN plants = 650
3) We love that churches are being planted in Alabama, TX, TN, etc, but that’s not where SLN targets. We plant in secular urban centers - San Fran, Boston, NYC, DC, Portland, etc
4) SLN board churches cover all admin costs, so when a church gives part of missions budget to plant churches through SLN, 100% of dollars go to church plants, 0% to overhead
5) SLN connects your church with direct communication from planters you can use in services to cast vision, which helps increase generosity in your church
6) SLN doesn’t just help pastors PLANT churches. We coach them in perpetuity to GROW their churches, which is why SLN churches are as large as they’ve become.
SUMMARY: personal opinion, your church is crazy not to invest in planting churches through SLN, I think it’s the best “kingdom ROI” investment out there
@ or DM me if your church wants to talk about planting churches through SLN

Having spent a great deal of time around these people, I've learned some things I've kept secret.
But my conscience will not allow that any longer, so here goes. All true stories...
PASTOR A led 2 different churches over 10k people, quietly stepped aside to help plant a church in an area that needed one, and now instead of speaking at huge conferences, leads a morning Bible study with recovering addicts and volunteers his time renovating widows' houses
PASTOR B led 1 of largest churches in US, was known as kindest & most gentle man his staff had ever met, was nearly beaten to death at 2am on the side of a highway bc he stopped to help what he thought was a stranded low-income family w a flat tire that turned out to be thieves
Responding to 10 common myths about abortion / the overturning of Roe v Wade
MYTH: Xians aren't really pro-life, just pro-birth - they don't care about anybody after they're born!
Besides starting almost every Pregnancy Center u'v ever seen, Xians adopt at more than 2x the national avg + are exponentially more generous to the poor than rest of population
MYTH: Men (anti-abortion bc they don't have uteruses) are forcing their will on women (who all want abortion access)
Women are more likely than men to identify as pro-life, which leads to headlines like, "Why Are Women More Opposed to Abortion?"
1) Christians don't really care about children, only political power
2) Men (anti-abortion bc they don't have uteruses) are imposing their will on women (who all want abortion access)
3) Most abortions are about poverty, health complications, and rape!
MYTH 1: Christians don't really care about children after they're born, they just leverage abortion for political power
FACT: Christians adopt more children than any other population segment, more than doubling the norm, and run every crisis pregnancy center you've ever seen
MYTH 2: Abortion laws are men (who are anti-abortion bc they don't have uteruses!) imposing their will on women, who all cheer abortion as a "women's rights issue"
FACT: Women are MORE likely to be pro-life than men
