Landing a job in web3 is not as tough as web2 - why?
- Less Competition
- Lack of Talent
- Multiple Web3 Startups

There are tons of ways to get an excellent job in the web3 space including old standard ways to different innovative ways!

We will discuss every way possible from old ways to new ways :)

1. Job Portals - The most convenient and old way to get a job is to apply through job portals. There are tons of platforms that have web3, crypto & blockchain-based tech/nontech jobs. If you are looking for web3-specific platforms here you go👇

2. Twitter - I literally know some people who just shared their learnings on Twitter, generated some meaningful threads, and landed a high-paying job in the web3 space. Twitter is a home for Web3 folks so almost every company and employees are on Twitter.

If you consistently create good content on Twitter, People will directly reach out to you with Job offers.

Do followers matter on Twitter to get a job?

Having a good amount of followers on Twitter may give you an edge for jobs like DevRel, Marketing, Content creator, or community-based roles but if you just getting started it's okay and not at all necessary, especially for Devs.💡

3. LinkedIn - Now that the web3 industry is growing people on LinkedIn are getting aware of the crypto & blockchain space so there are tons of job recruiters and companies that look for good people on Linkedin.💙

4. Reach out to People - Networking is the biggest key factor in the Web3 space, You can start reaching out to people on Twitter, LinkedIn, or IRL. Don't be shy or underconfident if you think you have 2 or 3 good things to showcase on your profile you are good to go :)🫂

5. Participate in Hackathons - One of the best ways to get a job and get started with web3 is to participate in Hackathons. There are various hackathons that are always ongoing and people will surely keep you in mind if you build something wonderful.

6. Create Personal Brand & Content - This is a great tip that can help you to get a job in web2 or web3 space so go & make a portfolio website & prepare a strategy to build your Brand, LFG🚀

7. Attend Web3 & Crypto Events - Go to Web3 & Crypto-based Events and connect with like-minded people who are working in the space and maybe god knows you will meet someone who can give you a job or internship so attend as many events as possible.✈️

Don't have money to attend events? Apply for Travel & Ticket Scholarships & Participate in Giveaways on Twitter :)

8. Join a DAO - Join a DAO or Web3 Community, contribute to it, make connections, learn from people and ask there for help to get a Job.
Simple AF
I know who landed a job by being an active member of DAO.

9. Cold Email - Try cold emailing Web3-based startups to ask if they need interns or full-time people to join their company & explain to them in a few words how you can be useful for their organizations :)
