Tiny company in Cornwall with assets of just £344,417 has been awarded government net-zero contract of £70 Billion. ‘The Place Group’ company directors are Claire Delaney and Simon James... but would be interesting to find out who shareholders are. cornwalllive.com/news/cornwall-…
Claire Delaney and Simon Rule each own 22.5% of ‘The Place Group’ as well as each owning 22.5% of the shares in ‘Schools’ Buying Club,’ ventures involved in setting up Academy schools. Both are trustees of ‘Bellevue Place Education Trust’ (BPET) theguardian.com/education/2016…
n 2016 the NUT raised concerns re: Information derived from leaked “Panama Papers” showing Bellevue Education is part owned by a company which was set up by the Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca and on which Clare Delaney and Simon Rule are trustees. wembleymatters.blogspot.com/2016/04/niut-c…
Bellevue Education is part owned via a company registered to the BVI which was set up by the Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca. The name of the company is Maplehill Investments (BVI) and its owner is Tarek Obaid, the founder of Anglo-Saudi oil company PetroSaudi.
Therefore it would be interesting to know why ‘The Place Group,’ with shareholders Claire Delaney and Simon Rule with connections to offshore companies owned by Tarek Obaid, the founder of Anglo-Saudi oil company PetroSaudi... were awarded a £70 Billion net-zero contract 🤷♂️
It’s worth doing an internet search of "Tarek Obaid" and ‘petrosaudi’ just to find out what could possibly go wrong in deals he’s involved in, so I seriously hope this man is nowhere near the government's £70 Billion net-zero budget. theedgemarkets.com/article/prosec…

Short version of what happened in Parliament today was that Starmer plotted with Speaker Lindsay Hoyle to prevent a vote on an SNP motion calling for immediate ceasefire in Gaza, thus sparing the shame of Israeli cash-receiving Labour MPs who would have voted against a ceasefire.
Had a vote on the SNP motion calling for an immediate ceasefire been allowed to happen, every Labour MP who takes cash and gifts from the apartheid state would have had their vote against the motion recorded in Hansard and made public, to the fury of their constituents.
...and if you’re in any doubt as to why Starmer would feel the need to plot with House Speaker Lindsay Hoyle to prevent a ceasefire vote and the names of Labour MPs voting against it being made public, it’s this:
40% of Labour cabinet receives Israeli cash... including Starmer.
