I actually think @franklinisbored is not acting *completely* irrationally given his publicly stated goals.

I think this because let's say that your actual goal is to own as many apes as possible, at the lowest possible cost.

B/c there are only 10K apes & they're non-comparable.
That is to say, it's a thinly traded security, and always will be regardless of whether they go for $1M USD or $100 USD.

It's not like Bitcoin or a traditional security where the bid/ask are expected to align.

Let's consider $VWAPY, and not only because it's a good investment😉
And not only because I own thousands of $VWAPY shares lol.

All $VWAPY shares are equivalent to all other $VWAPY shares.

B/c there is less interest in the US in owning huge amounts of Volkswagen AG (I'm an anomaly)…

ha i can't prove this but in 2010 i read the bitcoin whitepaper several times and solved a few of the equations in it

i was very skeptical it'd even work how he said. i remember when this happened (the Bitcoin hack which caused the value overflow incident. ImageImage
i was very early, early enough i remember Satoshi leaving. he never replied to me, but i tried to push the other coredevs over a few years 2010–2011 (Gavin, jgarzik) to please rewrite Bitcoin Core in a memory safe language, and get behind this, in PM's, i was ignored
now most new blockchains are written how i said 😏

i'm weird in that i really liked the bitcoin tech, and i liked talking with the early devs in irc

i even dm'd with magicaltux once lol

i didn't know enough C++ back then to have contributed but it's guaranteed if blockchains happened now and not in 2012 i'd be a core dev

being a "technology first" guy in crypto is suffering

so many cryptoshits have been proven worthless literally five to eight years ago and yet STILL have people shilling for them. it's maddening.

this project, Siacoin/@storj, is fucking ancient. i read the whitepaper in 2015. Image
i determined it was worthless and could never work in 2016.

people need to wake the fuck up. IF YOUR PROJECT is going this many years with nothing but fails, it's a fail. got it? good :)
