Today we release the first version of the 'Lido Node Operator Portal', a platform to consolidate all the information and resources related to being a Lido Node Operator in one place.
Prospective operators will be able to more easily see how Lido's different operator sets work, which networks currently have open onboarding rounds, what the requirements for being a Lido Node Operator are & apply for onboarding rounds.
Existing operators will be able to view details about Lido's internal processes, monitoring mechanisms, communication and governance expectations, and have access to additional resources related to the smooth operation of Lido's protocols.
These are just the first steps for our Operator Portal, and there's lots more to come.
We will be working to improve the portal indefinitely, and we look forward to your comments, suggestions, and even content contributions! 🏝

In an effort to broaden validator onboarding opportunities in the Solana ecosystem, Lido is piloting a small onboarding round for Lido on Solana specifically for operators not currently running mainnet nodes.
During the Solana Wave 2 evaluations, the Lido Node Operator Sub-Governance Group determined a separate evaluation with specific criteria for new operators interested in joining the Solana staking ecosystem.
As this will serve as a pilot program to determine to what extent Lido can bring new, performant operators to the Solana validator set, we expect the first round to be a very small one (i.e. one or two shortlisted applicants).
