Place some sort of moral framework on this fact is what’s stigmatizing. 3/n
Queer people have always been tasked to take care of our own sexual health. We are able to handle nuance and able to parse through data and facts. 4/n
We can understand that our communities (in the US and globally) are suffering disproportionately in the midst of this outbreak.
We recognize that our communities need urgent biomedical interventions and unified messaging to help stop transmission. 5/n
We *don’t* need bizarre tweets from a ?parody sleep doctor account to white knight for us in the most unhelpful and stigmatizing ways. 6/n
These accounts have been amplifying accurate MPX messaging. Spend your energy listening to this voices over “disrupters” who have no stake the livelihood of queer people.
