My results are in! ๐
I've run a complete 30-day test of #QueryHunter from @fatjoedavies on 10 articles across my site and here's exactly how it performed...
๐งต
So, what did I actually do?
I picked a mix of posts from across my site. Some were in positions 3-4 for their main keyword, and others were on page 2.
Collectively, these 10 posts had 88,587 impressions and 1,639 clicks.
I added #FAQSchema to the bottom of each post using questions that QueryHunter listed - mainly in the No Mentions tabs.
I always ordered the queries from high to low impressions and didn't target anything < 100
So, how did things perform? ๐๐?
Impressions: +7.54%
Clicks: +76.69%
CTR: +64.31%
9 out of 10 posts saw clicks and CTR increase
But can we attribute this to #QueryHunter? Could it be seasonality? Is it just a coincidence?
Probably a combination of these and more. I can't know for certain!
Unfortunately, #GSC hides a lot of data.
I can see in GA that traffic goes up. I can see in GSC that clicks go up.
But if I look at the query breakdown by those click changes, GSC only shows me 27% of the click data. Handy!!
Ultimately, would I recommend QueryHunter? 100% โ
If your normal approach to post optimisation is to jump between WordPress and GSC to find missing KWs, then it's a no-brainer.
