Dana Milbank: “While the dead might not be voting in large numbers in Arizona, the brain-dead are. Evidently, such voters are now a majority of the Republican primary electorate.”
If you thought The Walking Dead was scary you haven’t been to Arizona.
All joking aside, in out new film #UNTRUTH Dr. Gartner argues the zombie apocalypse genre has always been a metaphor for societies that go mad, turning into animals that kill their former neighbors and family because they are infected with propaganda.
Zombies in the AZ desert.
Nazis of the living dead.

Mark Finchem, a full-throated MAGA warrior, is a leading contender to be Arizona’s next secretary of state. He has said he won’t concede if he loses.
The man running to run elections in AZ has announced in advance he will only accept/allow Republican wins. What’s his campaign slogan?
Why take a chance?
Vote for me to end fair elections?
One party rule is my rule?
Elections, Russian style?

GOP, behold your God:
He’s not just a physically deteriorating fat and dumpy “thumb.” Mentally, he looks blank, dazed and confused, as his dementia progresses.
An illustration from “The Descent of GOP Man: From the Gettysburg Address to GETTR,” a book that needs to be written.

Breaking: DHS IG, Joseph Cuffari, blocked a plan to retrieve SS texts. Why? Because this former Doug Ducey advisor was an active part of the cover up. Last week we called for him to be fired. This week we call for him to be arrested.
“Sen. Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.), chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, issued a statement Friday calling the missing messages “an extremely serious matter” and said he would ask the Justice Department to intervene.”

Dems would do well to realize the biggest problem in their caucus is not Manchin. It's Sinema. Manchin is a career politician who wants to be reelected. He hails from a DEEP RED state. Sinema has no shot of reelection in her PURPLE state. She goes where the money is in her future
At present, Sinema says she’ll need to review the bill. The GOP must be pelting her with calls to vote Nay. She does love the attention and will milk it. But she's smart and knows how important it is. What we don't know that matters, is: what do her main donors want her to do?
Worth noting that Sinema communicates way less than Manchin. She is way less consistent than Manchin. They both serve specific industry. But Manchin is wealthy, Sinema is hungry. Her image-centric approach is her calling card - now and in the future. What a nightmare for Dems.

The J6 committee has requested the DHS Inspector General, Joseph Cuffari, recuse himself from the USSS text investigation because of his failure to report the missing texts.
We call on Biden to fire him. He was hired by Trump to cover up for him and he’s done his job well.
Why won’t Biden fire Trump appointees who have been shown to be corrupt partisan operatives? We just don’t get it.
It allows them to continue to do damage, makes Biden look weak and clueless— which he is not—and dispirits his supporters.

(1/4) We all know narcissists. But Malignant Narcissism is different - narcissistic disorder PLUS sociopathy, paranoia, AND sadism. It nestles between sanity and insanity. And it's produced THE most vicious inhumanity in history. They ALWAYS get worse. They RARELY go down alone
(2/4) In the annals of malignant narcissism, there's never been a situation like this. The scale is so enormous. The media is so constant. Trump bifurcates the entire electorate. His appeal to many is religious. The disdain for him by a larger group is unmatched in human history.
(3/4) It looks to us like the apparatus of enablers and amplifiers will keep peeling off him. Not because he's a criminal or pathologically aberrant, but because he can no longer lead them to power, and they can't trust him even so. We're not at a high point in our evolution.
