👋 Songbird-Flare World. I'm 0xOracle, Lead Analyst at Pangolin Exchange.

This is the 1st 🧵 of a series where I will cover anything & everything regarding Pangolin Exchange and Pangolin DAO.

For this 🧵, I'll introduce myself and give you an overview of Pangolin.

I’m the Lead Analyst/Farm Scientist at Pangolin. I’ve been with the team for a year and hold a Bachelor’s in Economics & Computer Science.

My focus has been turning Pangolin into a data-driven organization with a results-oriented approach to high-level decisions and strategy.

Almost every DEX has an incentive/governance token for LPs to attract liquidity. However, only a handful of them distribute those tokens effectively.

That's where I come in.

Some of my responsibilities are:
☀️Deciding token distributions to specific farms
☀️Which farms to add or remove

I spend a lot of time looking at weekly-monthly data sets like vol/TVL efficiency, elasticity vs emissions, avg. trade size, and price impact for users. 📊

My main goal is to create short and long-term intelligent strategies to become a healthy DEX on every chain we go to. 🏦

Whew, that's enough about me. Let's talk a little about Pangolin Exchange.

Pangolin is an Automated Market Maker(AMM) and essentially a Uniswap V2 fork originally founded by Ava Labs in Feb 2021. 🔺

In the early days, Pangolin didn't have a team or a treasury. Eventually, the DEX was handed over to a community-elected core team of 3.

Since that election, we've overhauled the UI and tokenomics to improve our operations.

Now 1 year later, we have 14 FT and 13 PT team members. The executive team has been running Pangolin DAO for just over a year and has gained a deep understanding of how to run a DEX.⚙️
