Directed by Priyadarshan, it's one of the best movies ever made in India based on realistic events. Casting is top notch. Ajay Devgan, Akshay Khanna, Paresh Rawal, Pankaj Tripathi, Jaideep Ahlawat, Bipasha etc.
2. Aamir(2008):
I can write about these movies but I shouldn't reveal stories of thrillers. So trust me and give a go!
I can say one thing, this movie has one of the most gripping stories ever in Bollywood. Fast paced with twist and turns, you blink, you miss type! So good.
3. Jewel Thief (1967):
A Vijay Anand masterclass. Probably Bollywood's 1st ever serial crime movie director. Also Jewel Thief maybe bollywood's first ever spy thriller, I don't know. There's Dev Anand, Tanuja, Vyjayantimala, Ashok Kumar. Watch this if you like crime thrillers!
4. Karthik calling Karthik(2010):
Psychological-thriller. Unique. Engaging. Great performance from Farhan Akhtar and Deepika.
5. Samay: When time strikes(2003)
It's based on kidnapping. Psychological thriller. Sushmita Sen's probably the best ever performance. Sushant Singh, an underrated gem of an actor in our industry and Jackie Shroff is there. Watch it!
6. The stoneman Murders(2009)
The genius, Kay Kay Menon is there. He is the cop searching for the notorious serial killer. And extra information is here in the movie poster. Have a look.
7. Rahasya (2015):
Investigation thriller. Very very engaging. Fast paced. Enjoyable.
(Watch Black Friday also. Kay Kay Menon is there as RAKESH MARIA. It's base on 1993 Bombay blastings).
8. Ek Hasina Thi( 2004):
A Sriram Raghavan masterclass ( Andhadhun director). Career best performance of Urmila after Kaun.
Special mentions: ( Urmila on Kaun, Sriram Raghavan's Johny Goddar )
9. Khiladi (1992) and Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro (1983):
List can't be full without an Abbas-Mastan movie! There are probably 10-15 Khiladi series movies, but the 1st one was simply brilliant.
Jaane Bhi Do yaaro is cult classic. It's not a proper thriller, it's satire. Must must watch.
10. Sarfarosh (1999):
People often talked about Aamir's 3 Idiots, Dangal, PK, Lagaan, Taare Zameen Par, Rang de Basanti, Andaz Apna Apna, Dil Chahta hai, Jo jeeta wohi Sikander. Such iconic films. But Sarfarosh may be Aamir's one of less talked gems. Such iconic songs also!
Special mentions: Gupt(1997), Woh Kaun thi(1964), Gumnaam(1965), Khuda Hafiz 2 (2022), Talaash (2012), Madhumati (1958), Ittefaq (1969), Manorama Six feet under (2007), Table No 21 ( 2013), Ugly (2014), 13B (2009), Lootcase(2020), Ludo(2020), A Thursday (2022).
Happy birthday Sivy. Although I started twitter long before, I actively using this for 1-2 months. For this short period, I have come across many people but nobody is getting more love than you! Ofc there's a reason, in this era of comparisons and hate, you are true to your idol.
You don't troll anyone except those are bound to be trolled. You are kind, generous, and love our beautiful game so much. You have proper cricketing brain which should be appreciated. Probably you are sleeping now , so after getting up when you sip your morning coffee, I hope...
there will be a cute smile in your face after reading this. Enjoy your day. Happy birthday to the best Kane Williamson fan I have known. Stay happy, stay healthy, stay like this forever. Wish your all dreams come true one day. Happy birthday once again brother. God bless you.
I have seen many saying it showed Anti-India. Maybe! I have seen it purely entertainment basis and I call it 'Sholay' of Indian web-show. Just like Sholay, It has everything: thrill, drama, action, comedy, family, songs.
2. Panchayat & Gullak
There should be separate reviews of these two masterclass, whenever you feel bored, tired, disinterested, depressed or feel low, you can watch both of these. So simple yet so witty.
3. Little Things and Soulmates:
I can watch Little Things any moment. The feel good factor, the fights of Dhruv-Kavya, the daily life struggles, the work-life balance, parent-child relationship, their evolution, so good to watch.
Gita is my favourite character amongst all. It's actually unbelievable that in 2004, in a remote village, Ashutosh ji portrayed that character! Strong, intelligent, well cultured, graceful, well behaved.
2. Sridevi ( Shashi, English Vinglish)
The last speech of Shashi ji speaks volumes of the character. Here in India, Knowing English and speaking English proposes a different value! We actually amazed by someone's English knowing! In the movie, Shashi ji was mocked and rest ...
3. Vidya Balan ( Vidya Bagchi, Kahaani)
The moment when Vidya takes revenge of her husband in Devi Durga attire, Indian cinema peaked! My all time favourite thriller. It's sad that Sujay Da never reached same height after Kahaani.
