@SenateDems passed the Inflation Reduction Act reducing costs on health care, Rx drugs, and energy— paid for by ensuring the largest corporations pay their fair share in taxes while the deficit goes down.

CHIPS Plus passes — includes over $52 billion for U.S. companies producing computer chips, allocates billions more in tax credits to encourage investment in chip manufacturing, provides tens of billions to fund scientific research, and incentivize innovation of other U.S. tech.

After eluding U.S. intelligence agencies for two decades, leader of al-Qaeda and co-planner of the 9/11 attacks Ayman al-Zawahiri, was killed at the direction of @POTUS. He was the head of one of the biggest terror networks operating in Africa and the Middle East.

PACT Act passes - The Senate voted to pass bipartisan legislation which expands healthcare and disability benefits for millions of veterans exposed to toxic burn pits in the line of duty. Special h/t to @jonstewart.

528,000 jobs were added by employers in July while the unemployment rate fell to 3.5%, matching its lowest level in 50 years. The U.S. economy has now replaced all of the jobs lost in the early months of the pandemic.

Gas prices have dropped to below $3.99 at most stations in the country. The national average is nearly down a dollar since mid-June where prices hit an all-time high per gallon. They will continue to go down.

The Senate overwhelming approved to admit Finland and Sweden into NATO, showing support for expansion of U.S. and European defense alliances against Russia’s war in Ukraine. We are in this together.

.@POTUS did more on reproductive rights with an executive order that:
-supports patients traveling out of state for abortions/other medical care
-ensures health care providers comply with federal non-discrimination law
-promote research & data collection on maternal health effect
