The retrial of two men who were not convicted last April in the fednapping plot of Gretchen Whitmer begins tomorrow.

Listening in on jury selection for new trial against two men in Whitmer kidnapping trial. Judge asking prospective jurors what they know about the case and their political opinions especially related to the governor.

Some jurors telling judge they have strong political views--this is a pretty conservative area of Michigan. One juror told judge he had made up his mind in the case based on local news coverage.

One juror says she has to obey God before the law.

Most have heard of the case.
Part of the western district of Michigan includes Pete Meijer district, who just lost his primary after voting to impeach Trump. Most of this area is Trump country.

Can't imagine FBI raid last night will help DOJ in this retrial.

Mark Milley is a dire threat to the country and Republicans must deal with this immediately.

Brief recess for Wray hearing. Let's hope @SenJudiciaryGOP ask more Qs about Whitmer fednapping, the unsolved pipe bomb investigation, and the persecution of Jan 6 defendants under D'Antuono's office.
LOL Wray says he has to leave at 1:30p.m. because he has a flight. Grassley says if it's business he has his own plane. (FBI DIRECTOR HAS HIS OWN PLANE.) Wray says he's really on a tight schedule.
