Tough love in Birmingham. It was a humbled experience in my 4th Commonwealth Games. No medal to bring home 🇲🇾 this time around. #B2022

Coming to Birmingham, I always give my best in my preparation, for I know how important this event is for the country. But, my body recovery process was slower than expected since returning from Budapest World Championships, and it continues to bother me even after I'm arrived.
I admit that I struggled in my individual event on the first day. Because physically, I wasn't 100% fit. I couldn't adapt fast enough with the local time zone.
I recovered better and we did some great dives in our synchro event with @Dhabitah_Sabri and with Jellson Jabillin in mixed synchro, but others did better, and luck is not on our side. Happy with our partnership, especially with Jellson, who has to compete while having an injury.
Nevertheless, I'm very proud of Malaysia diving team, especially the youngsters who did well this time. This is just a beginning; I trust in His timing. You have to experience both ups and downs in order to push you forward. I will return home to reflect and recuperate well.
Thank you for always supporting me all the way. Especially to my coaches and teammates, who always cheer for me. You are my source of motivation to continue diving. I will return your kindness in my next competition. #Malaysiadivingteam

Dulu saya ada seorang coach ni suka buat lawak lucah, saya buat diam je tak pun fake laugh sebab takut dia. Pernah sekali tak tahan saya tegur dia, tapi kena buli balik. 7 tahun kemudian dia buat kes rogol. #rapejokeisnotfunny
Tapi paling sedih dalam 7 tahun tu dia buat hal setiap tahun. Tapi kami atlet tak boleh buat apa, sebab backup besar dia adalah head coach kami sendiri.
Moral of the story, we need a good leader who can right what’s wrong instead of turning a blind eye to evil, and those abused must speak up please! Small voices still matter if we are united.
