#GuiltyGearStrive #Bridget thread to clear up this mess about people saying there's a "bad ending" and also the false story people who didn't actually read are parroting around as fact. RTs Appreciated 
First of all, there is no such thing as a "bad ending" in Guilty Gear Strive. I have played this game since launch and up to now, everyone considered each ending from arcade mode canon. There were no discrepancies about them, nor are they labeled as such in game.
They usually provide more information about the characters and some bits of world building. Some even expand about things that happen post story mode. Bridget's release is the first time people have started saying anything about a "bad ending".
Given the nature of the character, you can probably see why. People don't want to accept text and dialogue written in front of them and want to find any reason to disprove it.
However to disprove things they don't like, they also end up erasing tons of other character's lore and strive story content because they don't like the idea of Bridget being trans. Do not listen to these people.
Now as for the issue of the flawless ending, it does not actually state anywhere that Bridget is a boy, nor does it contradict the ending where she says she's a girl. People have tried to argue that "if she thinks she's a girl, then why would she be afraid of facing her parents"
"This ending is clearly showing that Bridget is afraid of telling the village and her parents that she's a boy". But that makes no sense whatsoever as the Village already knows as well as many other characters.
In GGXX, Bridget's storyline is that she becomes a bounty hunter and asserts herself as a man. Not because she herself thinks she's man, but rather to prove her village's superstition wrong. That same gendered twins bring about bad luck.
She did not "hate her parents" nor did she "hate how she was raised and wanted to be a man", but rather she felt really bad about the superstition. So she becomes a bounty hunter as her born sex (male).
By becoming a bounty hunter, she intends to bring back wealth to the village to prove that her existence wouldn't bring about bad luck. In the first ending with Ky, she receives a reward for her troubles and brings it back to the village, thus proving them wrong.
The other endings do not contradict this as ending 2 ends with her befriending Dizzy and the Jellyfish Pirates while ending 3 is a gag about Johnny learning she wasn't born female. All three endings have aspects referenced in XXACR
This is also supported by how Strive describes her story. It's not a retcon, this is quite literally what happened.
With that out of the way, you may be thinking what reason would Bridget be afraid of telling her parents and the village that she does feel like a girl (since they already know her sex at this point)?
Possibly it could be the fact that the village may go back to their superstitious ways since Bridget did turn out to be a girl in the end. Thus would prove the superstition right, which would be a very valid concern after all the work she did to dispel it.
So there you have it. No, the "I'm a girl" ending is not the "bad ending" and no, the flawless ending does not confirm that she's a boy. You are getting baited by people who didn't care about Bridget lore outside "uooh hot femboy nun".
