What are FREEPORTS /Charter Cities?
They are privately owned and operated cities where everything from healthcare, education and the police force to the legislature and judicial system are ring fenced from the host country (UK) becoming a privately operated fiefdom. No UK laws!!

In 2010 the Tax Payers Alliance - a Tory Think Tank - lamented the fact that EU regulations prevented huge profits because of pesky consumer rights/workers' rights/ environmental protections etc. They began work on BREXIT -

Johnson & Gove were the puppets who helped get Brexit across the line. Tory manifesto could not include details of Charter Cities - NO ONE would vote for THAT!! -so the investment zones were called FREEPORTS - a name associated with cheap shopping malls - NOT Charter Cities!

Tories won their huge majority and Charter Cities were in the bag as UK population still had no idea they had opened the door to Charter Cities. Keeping the details secret while being open with SOME details is the balancing act. Gov website shows maps but no info on REAL plans.

Teesside Freeport has opened - all seems well and workers wages/conditions remain the same - all giving impression Freeports are safe and nothing to worry about! Very clever deception! The EU regulation bonfire has not yet happened so Teesside is not fully operational yet!!

First the Tories need to remove our right to protest - when people realise understand the impact of Charter Cities they WILL fight - next they need to get UK out of the ECHR - can't have Human Rights getting in the way of huge profits!! Replacement of ECHR bill 2nd reading soon!

Judicial Review is another legal route that needs to be plugged before word spreads & the fight to stop FREEPORTS begins - Raab is working on that problem.
Rees Mogg has announced ALL EU regulations to have automatic expiry date (5 yrs) & new PM will deregulate from Day 1.

Tory ministers claim all rights/protections will remain in place - which they will until FULL control is handed over to the corporation investors - THEY will pull the plugs not the government! Just like "No border in the Irish Sea .. oh the pesky EU did that!!"

Our children will have to fight to regain minimum wages/paid holidays/maternity leave/environmental protections as For Profit companies with the power to cut these probably will!
Whole areas of UK will be ran as businesses with no local authorities or services.

Government report into introducing Freeports raises concern re crime/money laundering/smuggling - no details as to how the LOW STATE government can control these issues. ALSO lowering tax for these corporations will mean less money for services. No problem as there won't be any!

Report highlights Gov wants to deregulate but states protections/standards will remain in place - BOTH CAN BE THE CASE!! - NO details as to how gov intends to keep that balance!
