That's an empty luxury hotel all lit up whilst below are blackouts. The regime is spending 5x as much on building hotels as it is on basic infrastructure. More than a quarter of its budget goes on hotels. #SOSCuba pic @14ymedio

The 'embargo' did not force Cuba to invest everything in tourism. The 'embarago' didn't force the Cuba communists to refuse to do what Vietnam did and allow entrepreneurship to grow. The 'embargo' is not why Cuban agriculture is a disaster. All that would be the CCP's fault.
