The Lagos Ministry of Transportation has placed an indefinite ban on the operations of its enforcement team tagged M.O.T Taskforce.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Mr. Sola Giwa, stated that the decision was reached
after a thorough appraisal and review of the enforcement teams operating under the Ministry of Transportation.
Giwa explained that the ban is part of measures initiated to streamline transport enforcement activities in Lagos State to achieve the required effectiveness in line
with global best practices, warning that the ban is not an excuse for drivers to disobey the traffic laws of the State.
The Special Adviser averred that Traffic Management and Transportation is a cardinal pillar in the T.H.E.M.E.S Agenda of the administration of
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, stressing that the readjustment of the enforcement strategy was to enhance service delivery to the people of the State.
He, therefore, enjoined the general public to report the activities of any unauthorised enforcement team still operating with
the tag M.O.T Taskforce to the Ministry of Transportation for prosecution.
Appealing to Lagosians to cooperate with the State Government in its effort to improve the traffic situation across the metropolis,
the Special Adviser gave an assurance that a lot is ongoing behind the scene to bring the much-desired change in the transport sector. #ForAGreaterLagos

How Tinubu @officialABAT designed 7 rail lines for Lagos
By Tunji Bello
"I don’t dabble into various political duels going on on this platform as everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. But we must learn to seperate political hatred or propangada from facts. "
"Your response to Gov Sanwoolu’s interview was totally inaccurate and out of point particularly as relates to Tinubu.
Asiwaju Tinubu designed 7 rail lines for Lagos State in 2005 and I was a member of his cabinet as well as a member of the committee that designed it including"
the present Governor. First was a cabinet team sent to 3 South American countries that came back and we decided through modifications that Lagos needed part of what we saw. "
So on my way from work yesterday, passing through Ago palace way ( okota -Amuwo odofin link road) in lagos, there where heaps of refuse dumped by the residents of that place.
It's highly disgusting that those who want accountability from govt are highly irresponsible people
How do you bring out your stinking trash from your homes and shops and then dump it on the main roads and litter the whole place. 😡
I was almost in tears in anger yesterday when I saw all that rubbish.
I had reached out to @Mr_JAGs and called him to complain and also sent videos I managed to take while driving.
He came through by reaching out to officials LAWMA and they have said it was all cleared yesternight.
He also sent picture evidence to show what they have done.
