Alright, since the "West" education level has declined so badly that their "experts" are no longer capable of basic arithmetic, here's a thread on some Kherson ferry math. There are approximations, but they are conservative.
Notice this is for extra high intensity fighting, 150,000 artillery shells per day (5000shells*30BTG). That's double the USA's entire latest aid shipment to Ukraine (75,000shells).
Russia has 30 ferry segments running just between these 2 civilian ferries, not including their additional military ferry route. This picture alone is enough to supply their entire Kherson forces in moderately high combat indefinitely.
The ferry segments are capable of carrying more than 50mt each. Ural numbers are conservative since they can be pushed closer together to overlap segments on multiple segments.
Meanwhile, the UK Ministry of Propaganda and Bad Math has this to say. What an embarrassment.
Think it might be time for part 2 of the NGSW (Next Gen Squad Weapon). This will focus on the XM-250.
First off, explaining a machinegun. These are typically weapons designed for volume of fire. At close range, the gunner unloads on any enemies and incoming fire points. At long range, the gunner usually drops ~10 round bursts on groups and positions, while continuously adjusting.
Generally accepted characteristics include open-bolt firing, belt feed or very large capacity magazines, fully automatic fire, and the ability to rapidly change barrels. Open bolt means no round is stored in the chamber. When fired,it feeds a round into the chamber and shoots it.
