*basic explanation (it's more involved than this IRL)*
Most times, it discloses means and methods. In a lot of videos I say sometimes the secret isn't really the information, but how the information was obtained.
(Thread)
Example:
TS: Russia has a new secret missile.
TS/SCI: Russia has a new secret missile we discovered through an asset working in Vlad's Electronics shop.
There are other ways something gets an SCI designation, but they're even worse scenarios.
Best case scenario for the former Pres is that those documents disclosed not just a secret, but how the US obtained the secret.
Inbox: "somebody told me your horses were rescues. They don't look like rescues."
Well if they still looked liked rescues, we wouldn't be doing a good job. 😆 But really "rescue" probably isn't the right term.
They're either retired/injured or stubborn horses who just want to be horses and don't want to perform.
The people we get them from bought them as part of their businesses. They were bad investments but the owners didn't mistreat them and want them cared for.
Jackie was high end drill/ show (retired)
Pirate was polo and was severely injured (can't even be ridden by an adult)
Charlotte is a reiner who doesn't want to rein (the horse has to want to compete in that field)
Marilyn could be anything, but she's stubborn. (Very stubborn)
Me: makes tweet asking people not to compare the scotus decision to Islam.
Inbox: *fills up with anti Islamic rhetoric and every single message includes mocking the phrase "religion of peace".
Thread
That phrase relates to finding peace through submission to God, not pacifism.
If you didn't know this, you'll forgive me if I don't accept your take on what various schools of thought in Islam believe.
As far as taking this term to then assert it's actually violent because "they're always fighting each other", I have a European history book I'd like for you to read. Any.
Inbox: "I get the cops didn't act. But what you say about pistol vs rifle is garbage. You use military guns in your analogies. You also say guns are purpose built. Name a single pistol made by the military to be used against someone with a rifle."
The FP-45 Liberator. (Thread)
This was designed to be given to WWII partisans. The whole point was to walk up to a nazi who possessed a rifle, remove them from service, and take their stuff.
All military sidearms are designed to be used against an opposition combatant, most of whom have rifles.
But this misses the point. The power of a weapon is not determined by its physical size, but by the cartridge it fires.
Inbox: "I'm curious how you dealt with your PTSD and became so calm now."
Me personal route involved crawling into a bottle, making a lot of mistakes, etc. Don't recommend it.
What I've seen work that isn't horrible:
Puppies and pot. (I'm not joking. Thread.)
Having a dog (especially a therapy dog) gives you something to live for and is calming, especially true if the dog is trained to help with hyper vigilance. (Doggo is on alert so you don't have to be)
I can't remember the specific strain of pot, but one in particular was used by people with ptsd to great effect. I'm sure it's online somewhere. It gets prescribed.
Facebook: "You encourage the individualistic, motivated, creative to band together to solve problems. Have you ever read Atlas Shrugged? That's what the main character did."
I am not John Galt. Suggesting a similarity between egalitarian networks and Galt's glitch hurts my soul.
Me: organize everybody, make sure everybody gets a fair shake.
This guy: Have you read the book about how the rich should run everything and everybody else should shut up and do what they're told?
I get messages from people being intentionally offensive on the daily. Nothing wounds me quite like somebody genuinely misunderstanding because they're so far down the wrong road.
