Timeline: How Did We Get Here?Trump Mar-A-Lago Search Thread
All I’ve got for now as far as laying out dates/key events in a medium-length thread.
I may keep researching and have more to add to this later, though.

In 2018, Florida Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart was named.
By May 2021 and through the fall, there was reporting of mementos and a map which turned into “boxes of records” taken to MAL during relocation. kcra.com/amp/article/ma…
In January of 2022, there was reporting of Trump having materials which were part of SAPs, which — if true … — we should be as upset about as when we were upset finding out SAPs were on Hillary’s unsecured server.
Feb 7 - NARA reported it was “forced” to take 15 boxes
Feb 8 - CREW and Nat Sec Archive sent letter asking for an investigation into news reporting Trump may have destroyed records while at the White House
Feb 9 - NYT reported some of the boxes removed had classified info
(As others have said, why didn’t they review all of it then and remove any possible nat. sec. and/or nuclear info? 🤔 They’ve already been “forced” to go to Mar-A-Lago for boxes which purportedly had SAP-level stuff. But it is months before this becomes urgent? 🥴 )
Feb 10 -Maggie comes out w/her shiny new book
Feb 11 -NYT wrote of how challenging it would be typically to prosecute a former President for this which would be unprecedented nytimes.com/2022/02/11/us/…
On March 24, Trump filed a RICO lawsuit against pretty much everyone for the mess first 2-3 yrs of his Presidency.
By March 30, US govt had filed to exclude Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, and Clinesmith from lawsuit.
The J6 Cmte was well under way at this point and by Apr 20, DOJ had asked them to share interview transcripts.
May 4 -Judge Bruce Reinhart set status conf call date for Trump lawsuit for 6/2 2PM (and over a month later recused himself 6/22 + weeks later signed MAL warrant 8/5).
May 6 - Newsweek reported Trump lawsuit as maybe too late due to statute of limitations
June 3 - FBI with subpoena arrange through Secret Service to visit MAL; 3 agents and a DOJ NSD prosecutor
Jun 8 - Request sent for another lock
Again, if super secret super bad …why not
Jun 18 - Hillary in Newsweek quoted saying re-electing Trump in 2024 would help Putin, the guy she said for yrs he colluded w/to steal 2016 election from her
Jun 21 - Trump filed Amended Complaint in his case involving Hillary, DNC, many others, including USA
Jun 22 - A lot happens this day following amended complaint:
- Judge Reinhart recuses himself
- Kash Patel named as Rep for Trump Archives; John Solomon also granted access
- FBI subpoenaed surveillance footage from MAL
- John Eastman’s phone confiscated
Reinhart’s recusal canceled status call scheduled for 7/6 and also denied all motions as moot; Court asked defendants to file them again
Jun 24 - Solomon reported he had access to Russia materials for narrow scope research project
June 27 - Judge Matthewman recusal in Trump lawsuit
July 1 - Judge Valle recusal
Judge Strauss recusal
July 26 - News reporting of criminal probe into Trump’s actions
Aug 5 - Trump tells Judge he didn’t file sooner because he was busy being President
Aug 5 - This same day Judge Reinhart signs search warrant at Mar-A-Lago for every presidential record from 2017-2021
Aug 6 - USA in lawsuit given extension to 8/25
Aug 8 - FBI execute search warrant for 9 hours at MAL removing the following:
Aug 9 - Scott Perry has his phone seized
If I find more that needs added to this, I will.
Here’s a repeat of info on the 3 codes listed in warrant, ICYMI:
June 22 caused a flurry of activity? Kash named as a Rep for Trump for Archives, FBI subpoenaed surveillance footage on same day, plus Eastman’s phone was confiscated.
By Jun 24, @politico reporting of Solomon access to Russia docs.

“…narrow, targeted research project”
“The president gave me permission…”
“…our government should never hide its own corruption with false claims of classification”

Not sure who needs to hear this but the IRS has purchased nearly $700,000 worth of ammo just in 2022.
I, for one, would like to know who they are planning to kill with all of this ammo.
The number of non-Defense Department federal officers authorized to make arrests and carry firearms (200,000) now exceeds the number of U.S. Marines (182,000).
Per @WSJ in 2016 wsj.com/amp/articles/w…

What could possibly go wrong
Struggling to understand how we went from FBI Dir. Robert Mueller in January 2011 saying “these so-called ‘iron triangles’ of organized criminals, corrupt government officials, and business leaders pose a significant national security threat” to now in 2022 an army of IRS agents
He told us org. crime elements “may infiltrate our businesses. They may provide logistical support to hostile foreign powers. They may try to manipulate those at the highest levels of government.” Yet Org. crime now has only gotten worse and conservatives are called terrorists.
It’s unclear what happened but it definitely seems like something went very wrong and organized crime may be running most of the world now for all I know because the cartels are definitely controlling the border with our POTUS not even caring.
