Florida is being transformed into a Jim Crow, Authoritarian state under the white supremacist rule of Ron DeSantis. This is part of the Republican plan to maintain the status quo after a diverse crowd of young Americans protested with BLM after the murder of George Floyd.
The Republicans know that a culture which inspires diversity will topple Jim Crow policies and practices and bring an end to the good ole boy system and ideology. The teaching of black history and honor of black leaders simply cannot be allowed if Jim Crow is to survive.
