Some highlights: Robert Jackson has been a true partner to @JFREJNYC! Together in 2018, we defeated the Independent Democratic Caucus (#IDC) — the group of Democrats who caucused with Republicans and blocked key legislation, like measures to protect abortion access.
1993, Robert Jackson led a monumental lawsuit over NY’s failure to adequately fund the neediest school districts. He’s kept up that fight for almost 30 years, securing billions of dollars in funding and back-pay for our school districts! ny1.com/nyc/all-boroug…
@RJackson_NYC doesn’t give up on something people desperately need if it becomes politically inconvenient; Robert works to pass policies that meaningfully improve people’s lives, no matter how long it takes.
Big money interests representing real estate developers & education privatizers are trying to take down Robert & replace him with a former IDC staffer, because he won’t be bought out, & will fight for equitable education, tenant protections & healthcare for ALL our community.

Trump accused Jewish Democrats of “disloyalty” this week. Many have pointed out how dangerous this centuries-old accusation has been, leading to violence and expulsion.

It also destroys movements. Here's a story from US history of the disloyalty accusation against Jews.
Just 8 years after the Holocaust, in 1953, Julius & Ethel Rosenberg, members of the Communist Party, were the first civilians in American history to be executed for espionage.

Many Leftist Jews were terrified about what might happen next.
A little context: It was the Red Scare. The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 revoked citizenship from Leftist recent immigrants. The Dennis trials convicted community organizers of treason. Jews, seen as foreign, radical, and conspiratorially powerful, were often targeted.
