We don’t imagine everyday life without them. They carry us to work and on dates, to doctor’s appointments and to coffee with friends, to cinema and gym.

Bus drivers get up early every day. Sometimes they don’t eat breakfast and go to work before dawn.
Some of them are in the area where the army is performing combat tasks. Their driving skills enhance the ability of the army.
There are no traffic jams on fields but there are mines. There are no buses full of passengers and 30 degrees heat but there can be sniper firing when the car is full of ammunition.
There are no annoying passengers but there can be badly wounded soldiers that need to be evacuated from the battlefield asap.

Yes, they have other tacks but mission unchanging – to deliver soldiers or cargo quickly and safely. Army can be immobilized without drivers.
We will wait for all of the bus drivers in their peaceful cities. In cities where they know every street, tree, road. In cities where they can drive blindly.
We will wait with win stubbornly and faithfully as we wait for the last bus in late evening in freezy winter. And this bus has finally come.
🔵 #callsignUkraine is a project about civilian ukrainians who had typical professions. But now they are fighting for the freedom of Ukraine. Ukrainian veterans foundation, in collaboration with Ukrainian artist Nikita Titov, prepared illustrations about them.

#callsignUkraine – they write war code instead of site code or mobile application.
Today our illustration is about IT specialists. They wore camouflage and went to the war front.

What do IT specialists do on the battlefield or after war? Image
Oleh created and improved new products and services. After russian full scale invasion she went to the military commissariat because he was a reserve officer and took an oath of allegiance to Ukraine. He changed few positions during the war.
After that he led the war company. He completed it by himself. Specialists responded to his post on LinkedIn. He said that he wanted to do an interview independently. Because he wanted to be confident that he would work with professionals.

Image

They cook dinner in a field instead of a sterile kitchen.
They often put water for cooking borsch or porridge under the sounds of shelling. They often deliver hot dinner to the fighting position risking their lives.
Nazar, chief cook from Rivne, returned from Qatar. He wanted to join the Military Forces of Ukraine and to feed our soldiers. He fed them restaurant dishes.
Chief cook Vitaliy roasted small Indonesian skewers Sate Mu in his own restaurant before the full-scale russian invasion. But now he is in military uniform and feeds the military unit.

#callsignUkraine – they didn’t go to the classes. They went to the frontline.

Preschool teachers who every day raised and taught kids in kindergarten chose to wear camouflage. Today their priority – free and safe Ukraine for children. Image
For example a former preschool teacher became commander one of the division anti-aircraft missile regiment. Before the army she attended different courses, trained a lot to be prepared. At first she was in special forces.
Do any countries have examples like this? We know that Ukraine has a lot.

Ukrainians put their civilian life on pause and changed into camouflage. There is nothing more important than living in a free country. Existing in slavery it is not our scenario.

Image
